Pokemon fan Cellocalypsedown shared a look at their stunning handmade stained glass artwork of Zapdos, which they made over the Christmas holiday. Zapdos is an Electric/Flying-type Legendary pocket monster and was among the 151 original Gen 1 Pokemon to be introduced to fans. The electrifying creature is one of the Kanto Legendary Birds, alongside Articuno and Moltres, and has a striking angular appearance. Wanting to capture the distinct aesthetic of Zapdos, OP decided to transform the Legendary Pokemon into a stained glass art piece. Utilizing their collection of glass tools and a repurposed creation from 2019, they beautifully crafted a stained glass Zapdos featuring the vibrant yellow feathers and red detailing of the Legendary bird.

While there are a number of official Pokemon merchandise lines with thousands of goods to choose from, many fans enjoy putting their own creativity and talents to the test with custom pocket monster creations like the Zapdos stained glass piece.
