Marvel Rivals Fans Really Want 1 Classic Mutant Added to the Game
Marvel Rivals players come together to express their interest in seeing a popular X-Men member added into the hero shooter game.
In the meantime, a Reddit user by the handle of Exurii recently shared their concept kit set for a Marvel Rivals version of The Wasp, a classic Avengers member who hasn’t been added to the game yet. This take on Wasp seems to be based on the Hope van Dyne version from the MCU, and is classified as a Strategist. This means that Wasp would be focused on healing teammates and providing stat-boosting effects to help win the match.
Marvel Rivals Concept Envisions Wasp as a Strategist
Wasp’s primary moves are a short-range Concussive Blast and a Medical Amplifier, the latter of which would release a cone-shaped healing ray to bring allies back into fighting form. Wasp’s would-be Marvel Rivals abilities also include Bio-mech Symphony, which releases toxins that inflict anti-heal on opponents, Microlight Aviation, in which Wasp shrinks down for continuous flight, Stinging Nettle, a cluster of mines that also inflict anti-heal, and Smoke Barrage, which releases a wall of smoke that covers the battlefield. For her Marvel Rivals Team-Up ability, Wasp has Apoidea Overhead, which she would perform alongside Ant-Man.
Many other Reddit users are impressed with Exurii’s Marvel Rivals Wasp concept, though some would rather have the original Janet van Dyne version of the character instead of the more modern Hope. Exurii has also posted a concept of Ant-Man as a Marvel Rivals Duelist, which seems designed to be used in tandem with their hypothetical version of the Wasp. Both characters have a long and storied history in Marvel comics and films, and would make interesting additions to the growing Marvel Rivals roster.
