The music of Genshin Impact is beloved by fans, as many memorable themes have made their debut over the course of the Archon Quest. While players were able to play these themes during Flagship Events themed around music, there was also a demand to make the gameplay permanent.
Much like Genius Invokation TCG in Genshin Impact, the new music feature will be permanently added to the game in Version 5.3, and players can also expect to see new songs in future updates. The overview was posted by the official Genshin Impact account on Reddit, containing three images that explain what players can do in the new game mode. The Repertoire of Myriad Melodies is a gadget that can be activated at any time in any region. It can play up to 56 assorted tracks that contain both in-game music and promotional themes from character demos. Mondstadt features 12 tracks in its category, while the other four regions have 11 tracks for the player to choose from. Natlan in Genshin Impact currently has no tracks in the Repertoire of Myriad Melodies, but it is safe to assume that the developers will add those themes in the future.
Genshin Impact: Repertoire of Myriad Melodies
The main concept of the Repertoire of Myriad Melodies is that it allows players to perform the tracks with musical instruments, mimicking the rhythm game genre. The gadget contains a library of tracks that can be performed, listened to, or even edited via the Hall of Creation. These edited tracks can then be shared with other Genshin Impact players through the Score Exchange. Any track can be edited, from Dance of Aphros and Caprice of the Leaves, to the music featured in boss fights in Genshin Impact.
Players can expect the Repertoire of Myriad Melodies to be available on January 1, 2025. The new game mode can be unlocked by going to Mondstadt’s tavern, but any further details remain unknown. Version 5.3 is expected to be an ambitious update, as it will also feature a conclusion to Natlan’s storyline, the Lantern Rite, and three new Genshin Impact characters. Given how popular music events were in Genshin Impact‘s past, the Repertoire of Myriad Melodies will likely be a fine addition to the game.
