Recently, a Reddit user known as Thackdaw shared a picture of an unexpected piece of Fortnite merchandise they found at a store. According to the image, the gamer found a NERF blaster designed to look like the Bushranger skin from Fortnite. The weird-looking toy featured a leafy design interspersed with branches, and it incorporated a strap of pinecone grenades around the handle. However, the most notable part was the Bushranger’s face near the top of the handle, creating a somewhat unsettling appearance. Beyond the Fortnite theming, the small NERF toy came with two foam darts, with one able to be loaded and fired at a time.

This discovery by Thackdaw while at the store has caught the attention of many on Reddit. With over 1.7K upvotes so far, numerous players joked about the design of the NERF blaster. Thackdaw described the toy as a “monstrosity” when posting on Reddit, with some agreeing that its appearance was somewhat ugly. However, others liked it and wanted to purchase one. Unfortunately, the toy seems unavailable in some regions, as one user pointed out they could not find it for their son in Australia.

It is unsurprising to see Bushranger be among some Fortnite players’ favorite skins, as it won a Community Choice vote to be added to the game back in 2019. Specifically, the skin came to the game during Chapter 2: Season 1, and its unusual tree-like appearance made it stand out. In addition, various styles were added for players to choose from, including Blooming, Autumn, Winter, and Dreamranger.

While Bushranger remains loved by many fans, the game continues to add even more skins. Recently, Epic Games launched a Fortnite crossover with Cyberpunk 2077, adding a variety of cosmetics, such as skins for Johnny Silverhand and V. In addition, even more collaborations are expected in the coming days, meaning fans will have more options when choosing their character’s look.
