Disney Dreamlight Valley has loads of ingredients that you can collect and use in recipes. With the new Storybook Vale world, there are three biomes full of new items. Some ingredients can be bought from Goofy’s Stalls, and others need to be gathered from the wild. Persimmon is one of those wild ingredients in DDV.
Persimmon is an important ingredient in many recipes in Dreamlight Valley. Players will also need it to make Persimmon Sour Fondue as a part of the Archery and Archrivals quest. However, it’s specifically found in one area of Storybook Vale, so finding it can be difficult if players don’t know its location. So in this guide, we’ll show you how to get and use Persimmon in Dreamlight Valley.

How to Get Persimmon in Dreamlight Valley
Persimmon is a fruit ingredient that players can use to make many recipes at Chez Remy in Dreamlight Valley. Unlike some other Storybook Vale fruits like Golden Apples and Honeydew Melons, you can’t buy it from Goofy’s Stall. Instead, you’ll need to harvest it from its trees. You can find Persimmon trees growing in The Bind region of Storybook Vale- the same place where you found Owls.
The Bind is one of the first areas you unlock in Storybook Vale. You can get access to it during the A New Chapter quest by spending 500 Story Magic. Once you have it unlocked, go there, look for Persimmon trees, and interact with them by pressing ‘E’ to harvest the fruit.
Each time saviors harvest a Persimmon tree, they will get four pieces of the fruit. To gather even more, bring along a buddy with the foraging role as they can help you collect extra Persimmons. You can unlock this feature by reaching friendship level two with a character or by assigning them the foraging role using a training manual. And if you want to rearrange your setup, you can move the Persimmon trees in the Furniture Mode, and they’ll still produce fruit as usual.
How to Use Persimmon in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Dreamers can eat Persimmons raw to get a little bit of energy, but they’re way more useful in recipes. On their own, they restore 300 energy and sell for 25 Star Coins. However, meals made with Persimmons sell for much more and give a bigger energy boost. Here are some dishes you can make with them:
- Electric Radicchio and Persimmon Salad
- Loaded Persimmon Porridge
- Persimmon Chia Pancakes
- Persimmon Pie
- Persimmon Smoothie
- Persimmon Sour Fondue.
