It features straightforward JRPG gameplay, allowing players to explore an open world, compete against other trainers, progress through different areas, and level up their dinosaurs, known as Vivosaurs.

Of the many attempts made by other studios to capitalize on the hype of Pokémon, Fossil Fighters is considered one of the better, resulting in a memorable Nintendo DS franchise. Fossil Fighters: Champions is regarded as the best in the trilogy; the Vivosaurs are well-designed with flashy abilities and deliver 3D visuals and worlds before Pokémon did.

One of Telltale Games’ earliest games, Jurassic Park: The Game tells the story of the first Jurassic Park movie from the perspective of different characters. Like Telltale’s other story-based games, it’s all about making dialogue and story choices that can affect progress in a good or bad way.

Playing through Isla Nublar as the park veterinarian Gerry Harding from the movie and a new character meant to retrieve the dinosaur embryos from Denis Nedry makes for fun continuity. However, the true highlight in the demo is contending with the Therizinosaurus, which can only move when the player is not looking. If that terrifying creature is just the demo, the full release should attract everyone’s attention.
