Summary
- Yesterday’s episode of Dragon Ball Daima featured a huge moment for Vegeta, who finally achieved Super Saiyan 3.
- Ignoring the questions this raises for Super, fans have instantly started hoping the form appears in Sparking Zero.
- We already know that Daima Vegeta is coming as DLC, so it does make sense that Super Saiyan 3 would be included in that.
Dragon Ball fans think that Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 transformation from the latest episode of Daima is going to be included in one of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero‘s DLC packs.
Even though Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s roster of 182 characters is already mind-blowing and the biggest we’ve seen in a Budokai Tenkaichi game, it’s about to get a lot bigger in 2025. As revealed all the way back at Summer Game Fest, Sparking Zero’s three post-launch DLC packs will add more than 20 new fighters from Super: Super Hero and Daima.

2024 has been one of the most George-core years in recent memory.
While it’s been very easy to guess which characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero are going to be making their way to Sparking Zero in the first DLC pack, Daima, which will take up the second and third expansions, has been a bit trickier to figure out since it’s an ongoing series. Well, thanks to the most recent jaw-dropping episode, at least one of the inclusions has become a lot clearer.
Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta Is Surely Coming To Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero
Yesterday, the 12th episode of Daima, True Strength, aired and had a humongous surprise in store for long-time Dragon Ball fans. While struggling against Tamagami Number Two for one of the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls, Vegeta finally did the unthinkable and reached Super Saiyan 3, something that fans have wanted to see ever since the Buu Saga.
With Vegeta’s SSJ3 transformation being such a massive moment in Dragon Ball history and two DLC packs’ worth of Daima content already confirmed for Sparking Zero, fans have quickly started speculating that the new form is eventually going to end up in the game. Over on Twitter, DbsHype reacted to the transformation by sharing an image of Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta and saying, “Sparking! ZERO DLCs will be lit!”.
DbsHype is far from the only fan to theorise that Vegeta’s new form will be in Sparking Zero, as the game’s subreddit page has exploded with posts hoping he’ll be included. It’s the same story across Twitter, with players sharing the transformation and saying that it’ll surely be part of either the second or third DLC pack.
While Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta is far from being guaranteed for Sparking Zero, it does seem inevitable considering Vegeta is already confirmed as one of the DLC characters and because we know the show is going to get two DLC packs. For now, all we can do is wait and look forward to how he plays.
