Here’s how to complete all six parts in Chapter Seven (VII) of Monument Valley 3.

Part One: The Doorway

In the first part of level seven, you encounter a complex puzzle where the goal is to trigger a massive door to rise from the ocean and enter it. Follow these steps to solve the puzzle:

  • Step forward and walk to the inverted wall until you reach the end.
  • Drag the movable ledge with three orange circles to the right.
  • Jump onto the ledge, turn the movable wall back, step forward, shift the wall to the right, and enter the upside-down door.
  • Your character will appear outside the front gate. Walk to the other side, turn the movable block to the left, and press the floor button.
  • A cutscene will show a structure rising from the ocean, revealing the Boatem (or Totem boat).
  • Walk to the movable block, shift it to the right, climb down the stairs, and head to the Boatem.
  • Ride the boat to the right and enter the giant gate.

Part Two: Rescue The Child

In this section, you’ll find yourself on the other side of the ocean. The aim is to rescue a child and get past another giant door. Here’s what to do:

  1. Turn the boat to the south and dock at a submerged building.
  2. Rotate the gear to the right, stand on the movable block with two red circles, drag it to the right, step forward, and wait until the child reaches the other side of the landmark.
  3. Once done, move the gear back to its original position and enter the dark door.
  4. On the other side, climb the stairs and activate the floor button. Once the child enters the top door, a big submerged gate will spawn.
  5. Head back to the Boatem and ride it through the gate.

Part Three: Rescue The Citizens

In the third part, Noor needs to unite the child and her sister and lead them out of the dangerous area. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Dock the boat at the southern building where the child is standing.
  2. Drag the movable wall downward, then pull up the other wall with the floor button. Stand on the movable ledge and pull it up. This will make the child press the first-floor button on the right, blocking her way back.
  3. Take the second movable wall down to align it with the lower platform. Stand on the second floor button, move the wall up, and activate the third button at the top.
  4. This will clear the way for the child’s sister. Return to the Boatem, dive to where the sister is, and take her to the starting building.
  5. The sister will reunite with the child, and both will follow you. Lead them back to the boat, dock at the nearby structure, and trigger all the floor buttons.
  6. This way, a big gate will rise from the ocean. Stand on the boat and enter the gate.

Part Five: Inside The Stomach

After the events of the previous part, Noor wakes up inside the fish’s stomach. Here, you’ll face a tricky puzzle about reuniting with the sister. Follow these steps:

  1. Step to the end of the track and pull the ledge with three circles down. You’ll appear on the other side of the monument. Step forward and drag the ledge back once to meet the sister.
  2. Take the block down again and walk to the end of the inverted wall.
  3. Pull the wall up, step onto the movable ledge with the sister, then pull the wall back down.
  4. Stand on the floor buttons together and enter the dark door with the sister.

Part Six: Escape

In this last puzzle of level seven, you’ll need to make your way out of the fish’s stomach. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Rotate the gear to the right until the ledge passes through the portal and aligns with the platform where you and the two sisters are standing on the right side. Step onto it together.
  2. Pull the block with tiny circles upward and turn the gear to create a path to the structure above. Step onto the new path and activate all three buttons.
  3. A door will open on the left side — get inside with the sisters.
  4. Finally, you’ll spot a movable cube-shaped block in the center. Adjust it until it forms a complete path. Hop onto the boat with the citizens to end The Torrential Parting puzzle in Monument Valley 3.
