Lego Fortnite Odyssey: How To Find And Use Treasure Maps
Here’s where to get Treasure Maps and how to use them in Lego Fortnite Odyssey.
Storm Dungeons, cave systems found under large, purple storm clouds, are no exception, providing a six-story challenge that ends in fighting a powerful mini-boss, the Thunder Lord. Storm Dungeons provide several unique and crucial crafting materials for your journey, so we’ve got a guide to make your trek into the unknown easier.
How To Find A Storm Dungeon
Finding a Storm Dungeon is easy: simply look for a massive grey and purple cloud in the sky, usually a far distance from your spawn location.
Once you’ve made your way there, the Storm Dungeon entrance will look like a rift and be in the middle of the storm inside a stone structure. Interact with the rift to descend to the first floor.
Before you begin, though, it is important to prepare. First, we recommend having either a Storm Charm or plenty of Storm Nectar, as this will increase the time you can be in the storm around the dungeon before taking damage. The ingredients for these can be found below.
Storm Charm
- Three Silk Thread
- Six Copper Bars
- Three Storm Shells
- Two Greater Storm Cores
Storm Fruit Nectar
- Two Storm Fruit
- Five Storm Cores
Additionally, the temperature in the storm is chilly, so you should bring a few cold-resistant items.
Building a Bus Station nearby can be extremely helpful if you die so that you can travel there quickly. Also, be sure that you bring plenty of food and healing items, a long-range weapon, a glider, and a follower.
Enemies Encountered
You will encounter several different enemies inside the Storm Dungeons, each having their own unique challenges. All of them hit hard and can overwhelm the player easily, so make sure you come prepared. Below is a table with each possible enemy and our tips on defeating them.

How To Beat A Storm Dungeon
There are six total floors in a Storm Dungeon. The first five randomly pick one of three tasks for you to complete, ending with defeating a boss called the Thunder Lord on the final floor.
Once you complete the challenge on a floor, head back to the rift you came in to find a loot chest, then descend through the same rift.
You can leave and return to Storm Dungeons at any time, retaining the progress of the completed floors. However, once you beat the entire dungeon, the storm around the area will dissipate. Below, we will cover the more specific ins and outs of each floor.
On some floors, you might notice a purple void beneath you. If you fall or get pushed in, you will be teleported back but will lose some hearts in exchange.
On every floor except the last, you will find glowing, mushroom-looking plants along the path. Getting near these will trigger them to explode and leave a painful storm-effect on the ground.
Floor Challenge: Destroy Crystal Rifts
These are the easiest floors, simply requiring you to destroy three Crystal Rifts that are scattered randomly. They can be shattered easily with any weapon, though keep in mind that some are almost entirely inaccessible, requiring you to use a long-ranged weapon.
As you search for the rifts, you will encounter Storm Knights and Rollers that can easily become too overwhelming unless dealt with promptly. Finally, you might notice some air vents with a purple stream of air coming out; these can be used to shoot you into the air and glide to the desired area.
Floor Challenge: Defeat Waves Of Storm Spawners
This floor will require you to defeat five waves of Storm Spawners and progressively harder enemies. Aim for the Storm Spawners first, as they will continue to summon enemies if not dealt with.
Storm Knights are present throughout each wave, while Storm Rollers and Storm Crawlers only spawn on waves three and five, respectively.
This floor can be very challenging alone, so we recommend bringing some friends or a follower with you.
Floor Challenge: Destroy The Wild Storm-Bears
The chance of this floor challenge is somewhat rarer but significantly more difficult, requiring you to defeat three Storm-Wild Bears. When you first enter the floor, two will immediately be roaming, while the third will be asleep a short distance away. We recommend dealing with the two first before triggering the third to wake up.
There are numerous plant-bombs on this floor. You can deal with this by either shooting them with a long-ranged weapon to detonate them early or simply being careful where you step while fighting.
Final Floor: Defeat The Thunder Lord
On the final floor of each Storm Dungeon, you will face off with the Thunder Lord. He will be found on the giant, circular platform at the bottom of this floor, requiring you to glide down from the top. Once he notices you, the fight will begin.
The Thunder Lord has two main moves: melee attacks and an electric ball that will infinitely follow you until it either hits you or is dissipated via a long-ranged weapon.
Additionally, he can teleport around the arena and will use this to both dodge your attacks and hit you with his own.
We recommend keeping as much distance as you can and whittling down his health with long-ranged weapons.
Upon defeat, a Loot Chest and new rift will appear. The Thunder Lord himself has a very high chance of dropping his weapon, the Amber Sword, as well as some Storm Rune Tomes. The Loot Chest will most often contain Essence and Rift Shards.
