Garena officially revealed the highly awaited roadmap of Free Fire Esports 2025. Similar to 2024, the upcoming season would include both regional and international tournaments including the Esports World Cup and the prestigious Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals. With the well-structured 12-tournament roadmap, February will mark the beginning of pre-season events that will lead to the culmination of competition in the FFWS Global Finals in November.

Key International Events in 2025
The Esports World Cup will be happening in July 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The year will allow people to attend the FFWS Global Finals which will be held in November to compete with the best teams worldwide in one championship title competition.
Garena organized two prestigious global tournaments with a $1 million prize pool for each in 2024. The FFWS Global Finals held in Rio, Brazil, was won by the Brazilian beast Fluxo Esports as the Indonesian squad RRQ took second place.
Regional Competitions and Qualification Pathways
According to the Garena structure for competitive events for the year 2025, there are to be Spring and Fall seasons in five major regions: Southeast Asia (SEA), Brazil, LATAM, as well as the MEA (Middle East and Africa,) and Pakistan. These events will offer slots to the top teams from each region’s competition to enter international events.

The Esports World Cup, scheduled from June to August 2025 in Riyadh, will serve as a major highlight of the Free Fire Esports 2025 season. The previous edition witnessed Team Falcons claim the championship, while EVOS Divine secured second place.
Moreover, Garena has planned to develop the competitive aspect by holding the upcoming pre-season FFWS event in Southeastern Asia and Brazil.
