Gamers think that the latest Double XP event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone is not delivering the XP rates promised by Treyarch. This has been a problem with a few different Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Double XP events, but it appears that the problem persists.
Since the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Treyarch has launched several different Double XP events for the game. When one ends, it isn’t long before the next one begins, making them more common than ever. It has been slightly controversial among the community, with some feeling as though they’ve been too frequent this time around. Once upon a time, Double XP events would happen once or twice per game cycle, but those days are long gone now. There’s no doubt that it increases player activity, so it’s understandable why Treyarch has gone down this route.

Double XP or not, Black Ops 6 players have plenty to look forward to in 2025. It was recently announced that the Call of Duty x Squid Game collaboration will release on January 3, bringing new Operator skins, weapon blueprints, and more, all based on the popular TV series that recently premiered on Netflix. Treyarch has ensured there hasn’t been a content draught in Black Ops 6, and there’s no reason to believe it will start in 2025.
