The Best Sandbox Games

The sandbox genre covers dozens of different games. Here’s our list of the best titles you can enjoy on console and PC.

The faster jetpack you get in the game, the more fun you’ll have because they allow you to easily access the things you want. There are a total of three types of jetpacks in the game. If you’re ready, this guide will help you unlock all three.

How To Unlock The Jetpack

To unlock the jetpack, the first thing you need to do is go to the Moon. Once there, you’ll need to find the room where it’s located. Start in the room where you spawn and go through the door that doesn’t say ‘Exit.’ Continue down the corridor until it splits, then again choose the door without ‘Exit’ written on it—go straight ahead. This will lead you to the room with the jetpack.

The jetpack is not as practical as other types of jetpacks due to some limitations in its abilities. While it allows you to travel quickly horizontally, it doesn’t always let you reach the vertical heights you might need.

Since it functions similarly to the gas canister, it doesn’t provide complete freedom of movement or unlimited flight. You’ll need to wait for it to recharge before you can use it again.

If you collect $200,000, you can obtain the Golden Jetpack. While it works like a normal jetpack, its appearance is different, and it creates a rainbow effect behind you as you fly.

How To Unlock The Balloon Jetpack

Unlocking the Balloon Jetpack isn’t particularly difficult. If you’ve already unlocked the standard Jetpack, you can unlock the Balloon Jetpack alongside it. To do so, head to the Swindon Space Program Facility, also known as the Lab.

As you may know, this is where you gathered six microscopes and placed them in a cabinet to get the launch codes for the rocket to the Moon. After placing all the microscopes in the cabinet, enter the room labeled ‘Balloon Pack Testing.’

If you try to enter the room before placing all the microscopes, you’ll encounter a red barrier in front of the Balloon Jetpack that will kill you if touched.

The Balloon Pack is one of the most versatile jetpacks available. Its functionality depends on the number of balloons you have attached. With more balloons, it provides excellent horizontal and vertical mobility, but it excels in vertical movement. This makes it a highly effective tool for collecting hard-to-reach items.

Additionally, you can pop balloons one by one to adjust your maneuverability or release all the balloons at once to perform unique aerial maneuvers.

How To Unlock The Flypack

How To Find Swindon Flight School

The Flypack is the hardest jetpack to unlock and requires quite a bit of effort. To start, you’ll need to visit the Flight School. Begin at the Sofa In Hideout spawn point and exit the base building. Fly to the roof of the Fayju building on your left and look around to spot the large ‘SWINDON’ sign on the mountain.

Fly towards it and follow the road beneath the letters O and N. The building near the zeppelin is the Swindon Flight School, which you’ll need to enter. However, entering the Swindon Flight School requires a special hat.

Your current goal is to find this hat, but before that, it’s recommended to unlock the spawn point here so you can return more easily. The spawn cabin is located in front of the hangar doors. Enter it to unlock the spawn point.

Where To Find The Special Hat

To find the hat, go to the tall hill with a pole on top, located near the two gliders by Swindon Flight School. With your back to the hangar, you’ll see a lake in the distance. Fly toward the lake, but head toward its right side near the structure and the golden pug statue on the hill. Fly over this structure and toward the farthest end of the lake.

Along the way, you’ll pass a small island in the lake and eventually reach the beach where the lake ends. On the right side of the beach, near the lilypads, you’ll find a large sand crocodile. Next to it, there’s a crashed helicopter with a skeleton inside wearing the hat you need.

Once you’ve obtained the hat, return to the Swindon Flight School and enter the previously locked door. However, simply entering isn’t enough—you’ll need to complete the Fly Challenge inside the building. This requires collecting three Fly Heads:

  • Fly Head
  • Fancy Fly Head
  • Space Fly

How To Find The Fly Head

Start at The Mountain spawn point, and look for the snowy hill with a pole on top. From there, spot a small cabin among the snowy pine trees and head toward it. With the red door of the cabin on your right, fly toward the ocean and descend to the shoreline at the base of the mountain. Along the way, look for the intersection of snowy and grassy terrain.

Stand at this intersection, then with the shoreline to your right, fly over the highest sections of the nearby hills. While on these high points, look toward the snowy mountain for a slight dip in the terrain. You’ll find a caravan in this area, with the Normal Fly Head next to it.

How To Find The Fancy Fly Head

Begin at The Mountain spawn point. Go behind the spawn cabin and walk between two snowy pine trees. Below you, there’s a high hill with a single tree and an ambulance on it. The Hat Fly is located at the top of this hill.

How To Find The Space Fly Head

Start at the base on the Moon. Fly out of the crater where the base is located, then head toward the large frog statue. Fly in the direction opposite to where the frog statue is facing, and you’ll reach the border surrounding the Moon. Keep the border to your left as you continue forward. After some distance, you’ll find a house inside a bubble. You’ll find this fly inside the house.

Once you’ve collected these three Fly accessories, the only thing left to do is enter the previously locked Swindon Flight School hangar. Inside, you’ll need to complete the Fly Challenge. To do this, you must locate and eliminate all 83 flies within the building. After defeating them all, the Flypack will be yours.

You can check how many flies you need to eliminate on the small board located at the base of the wooden chair.

Despite being so challenging to obtain, the Flypack can be considered the best jetpack. It allows you to move very quickly and doesn’t require recharging. This makes it efficient in terms of speed and usability. However, it’s not as effective as the Balloon Jetpack when it comes to vertical acceleration.

If you’re looking to find all 83 flies in the Flight School, their locations are detailed in the table below.
