In this Dream League Soccer 2025 Guide, we will decode DP points, what they bring to your table, and how to earn them.

And, if you are recently starting with the game, don’t forget to check our Beginner’s Guide for the basic tips. What are DP Points in Dream League Soccer 2025

Besides the previously existing currency system of Coins and Gems, a new currency has been introduced in DLS 2025, known as Dream Points (DP Points). Now, DP points are nothing but an in-game cash currency that needs to be accumulated continually to climb up in the newly introduced prize ladder system.

As you keep on accumulating Dream Points, you climb up the Prize Ladder and eventually unlock Gems and Coins alongside 4 other Classic Players who featured in the 98 World Cup. Each Prize ladder cycle lasts for 90 days and you can expect fresh Classic Players at the end of each cycle. That’s how important this new currency is, in the context of this game.

Dream Points can be earned by simply playing the different game modes with each game mode offering a said number of Dream Points. While your Dream Point earnings can be given a boost, there is no shortcut to earning this new currency, and can be only earned by grinding. In the next section, we are going to break down which game modes earn you how many Dream Points exactly and some other tips to stack up Dream Points quickly from our experience of laying the game.

How to earn Dream Points (DP) in Dream League Soccer 2025

Just as we stated already in our previous section, Dream Points can be earned solely by regularly grinding the various modes of the game, viz. Career Mode, Dream League Live, and Dream Draft. You cannot purchase Dream Points from the game’s Store section. So, among these three sections, which one should you grind more, to accumulate Dream Points quicker?

Well, let’s break that down in this section. We are going to be looking at the best-case scenario which is a win for you, and the maximum number of DP points that you can earn by winning in each of these game modes: Career, Dream League Live, and Dream Draft.

1. Grind Career Mode matches daily

Career Mode is a section where you go head-to-head against premier teams across divisions. Your opposition here is AI controlled which means you play against the CPU. So, as a beginner, this should be an easier game mode to start with, and earning Dream Points is what you would think.

Well, let’s see the maximum Dream Points that you can earn per Career mode encounter. Let’s assume the best-case scenario where you win the game. Upon match completion, this is the Dream Points break-down:

  • For Win: 75 Dream Points
  • For each goal scored: 10 Dream Points per Goal up to 5 Goals
  • For maintaining Clean Sheet: 15 Dream Points

So, if you score 5+ goals in a Career mode encounter and manage to maintain a clean sheet, the maximum Dream Points that you can earn per game is 140. To be honest, this is achievable especially in the starting days, when you are in the lowest division and mapped against lower-ranked sides.

2. Focus on playing Dream League Live Games

In Dream League Live matches you are matched against users online. Hence, this might be a comparatively challenging section to crack as a newbie. But hold on, it’s more rewarding as well.

Assuming again that you win the game. Below is the DP points break-down:

  • For Win: 120 Dream Points
  • For each goal scored: 10 Dream Points per goal up to 5 Goals
  • For maintaining Clean Sheet: 15 Dream Points

So, in the best-case scenario, if you score 5+ goals in a Dream League Live encounter (which is a bit challenging compared to scoring 5 in a career mode encounter) and manage a clean sheet, you can earn a maximum of 185 Dream Points.

3. Draft a side of 75+ Rated Players in Dream Draft

The Dream Draft section allows you to draft an entire team of 18 players from among the choices listed for each position. Each player that shows up in the options to pick is 75+ rated along with a Star Player. Now when your team is set, you compete against other teams with almost similar rated players in a tournament-like structure with loads of prizes in the form of Gems upon winning the semi-finals and finals.

Just as it is for Dream League Live matches, in the best-case scenario, if you manage to maintain a clan sheet and score 5+ goals you get to earn a maximum of 185 Dream Points. This is comparatively easier to achieve since you will be playing against the CPU. Hence, of the three game modes that we discussed, Dream Draft appears to be more rewarding. Hence, make sure that you are capitalizing on this section.

4. Keep a tap on the the Weekly Challenges

You can access the Challenges menu by tapping on the section labeled Challenges at the bottom of the game’s home screen. A set of simple and easy-to-complete objectives are set out on a daily and weekly basis. Besides other rewards, the Weekly Challenges section rewards you with Dream Points as well upon completion of each objective.

  • To know the weekly objectives set for a given week, you must switch over to the Weekly tab under the Challenges menu.
  • Four pretty straightforward objectives are set each week like playing 40 Career mode matches, scoring 40 goals with a forward-line player, etc.
  • Each objective rewards you with 80 Dream Points (DP) upon completion which means a total of 320 Dream Points can be earned each week by completing all the objectives under this section.

If you feel the Dream League Live and Dream Draft are more rewarding when it comes to Dream Points, do not fully neglect the Career mode matches as the Weekly Challenges section often demands you to play a fixed number of Career mode games.

This would ensure that you are not missing out on the additional 80 Dream Points for that objective and go up the ranks in career mode simultaneously. It’s not a bad idea since Career mode encounters do reward you a decent number of Dream Points as well.

5. Activate Dream Point boosts whenever available to speed up progression

As the name suggests, Dream Point boosts, boost up your Dream Point earnings across all Game modes whenever you activate them. Dream Point Boost comes in three categories:

  • Common Boost: Increases your Dream Points earnings by 50% upon activating. This means, that upon activating a common boost, you can earn a maximum of 210 Dream Points in Career mode games and a maximum of 278 Dream Points from Dream League Live and Dream Draft in the best-case scenario.
  • Rare Boost: Increases your Dream Points earnings by 75% upon activating. This means, that upon activating a common boost, you can earn a maximum of 245 Dream Points in Career mode games and a maximum of 324 Dream Points from Dream League Live and Dream Draft in the best-case scenario.
  • Legendary Boost: Increases your Dream Points earnings by 150% upon activating. This means, that upon activating a common boost, you can earn a maximum of 350 Dream Points in Career mode games and a maximum of 463 Dream Points from Dream League Live and Dream Draft in the best-case scenario.

How to activate Dream Poin Boosts in Dream League Soccer 2025

Dream Point boosts can be obtained from the Challenges section and as Season Pass rewards as well by completing the Season objectives. Hence, make sure that you are checking out these sections from time to time and target achieving all the objectives set here to redeem these freebies. To activate a Dream Point Boost:

  • Visit the Prize ladder section.
  • At the left-hand side of the Prize ladder pop-up menu, you will see a button labeled ‘Boost your DP‘. Tap on that to see if you have any DP Boosts available to be activated.
  • The Boost button would be enabled below each category of Dream Point boost if you own them. Tap on that to activate the boost.
  • Additionally, the game might also suggest you use Dream Point boosts before the start of a particular match if you own these boosts.

You can also redeem a random Dream Point boost by spending a whopping 100 Gems in the prize ladder section. But, we suggest not spending Gems for this purpose as Dream Point Boosts (except the Legendary Boosts) are quite regularly gifted out. You just need to be disciplined with your grind. So, make sure that you are activating them whenever available to maximize your Dream Points earning.

Final Thoughts

The introduction of this new Prize Ladder system and the fact that you can sign the 98′ World Cup Classic players by going up this ladder, is exciting, to say the least. The developers at First Touch Games deserve additional praise for making the path to earning Dream Points the same for all. If you want to earn Dream Points and unlock the Classic Players, you have to grind it out.

There is no way you can purchase Dream Points from the game’s Store section. This would keep the fans engaged and excited contrary to the scenario where some of them would have outright purchased Dream Points with money and got hold of all the Classic Players at once.
