Most Pokemon TCG cards would struggle to live up to the popularity of a widespread meme, and sadly, Cosmog’s valuable cards haven’t come close to being as beloved as Lillie’s Cosmog, Nebby. Cosmog doesn’t yet feature any cards with its most iconic trainer, so you’d be justified in stuffing some of these entries in your bag without a second thought.
However, Cosmog has a few promo cards on its roster that have a chance to appreciate over time, primarily due to their exclusivity. Some of the most valuable promo cards in the Pokemon TCG are trophies or rare exclusives associated with certain set prereleases, but Cosmog is different. Prepare for some unexpected brand crossovers.
Cards are ordered according to their TCGPlayer Market Price – the average price you might pay for a copy of the cards below.
A New Dawn
Cosmog’s first entry sets the tone for what you can expect from this unusual Pokemon’s most valuable cards. While you won’t find Cosmog’s best cards among the most expensive from the Sun & Moon era, this Pokemon boasts a few adorable scenes that capture its carefree personality.
This card’s price fluctuates but doesn’t stray beyond the one-dollar mark. The condition doesn’t play much of a factor yet, with near-mint (NM) cards readily available for sale from as low as ten cents to as much as 90 cents, with a lightly played (LP) sale thrown in around the 20-cent mark.

Cosmog: Team Up (Reverse Holo) – $0.31
A Happy Discovery
The Team Up set is packed with valuable cards featuring some of the most iconic combinations in Pokemon, but Cosmog appears alone on this jubilant reverse holo. With both a normal and reverse holo to choose from, the latter’s shimmering pattern claims a clear advantage on the price charts.
NM copies of the reverse holo Cosmog reach heights of 52 cents, followed by LP clocking in closer to 28 cents, and lastly, a moderately played (MP) sale disrupts the price trend with a 37-cent sale.
Given the relatively cheap cost of this card, conditions might not always sell relative to one another, and there’s also the chance the seller mislabeled the card’s condition.
A Snack And A Card
It’s time for the big brand takeover, as Cosmog’s prime offerings come as part of various promotions, like this General Mills Cosmog promo. This card was made available in Sun & Moon mini packs, which you could find in specially marked Fruit Roll-Ups boxes during the distribution period.
The distribution began around mid-March, 2017.

2024’s best Pokemon cards are setting new highs.
Whether you bought the Fruit Roll-Up boxes for the cards or the snacks, you’re now treated to a card that can help you recover some of your costs. NM copies of this General Mills Cosmog promo can exceed the one-dollar mark, though LP copies fall to about 50 cents – still pretty decent.
A Very Happy Meal
If you opted for a more complete meal (if you can call McDonald’s that), then you’ll be happy to know this McDonald’s Cosmog promo card vastly outperforms its General Mills counterpart. This card, which was also distributed in 2017, was found in Happy Meals during various months in 2017, depending on location.
Australia had access in July and August, with Europe (except the UK) getting the card in September and October, followed by the UK in January and February 2018. Wherever you got your Cosmog, you can expect an NM copy to sell for about $1.90, with LP cards dropping into the 99-cent range, followed by MP cards closer to 75 cents.
Get In The Bag
If you’re a 90s kid who lived in the U.S., then Toys R Us probably holds a very special place in your heart as one of the most enjoyable stores to visit, with dozens of Pokemon products available at any given time. While Pokemon’s popularity has only increased, Pokemon cards and merchandise often sell out of stores, especially during the holidays.
It’s only fitting that the Cosmog Toys R Us promo surges to the top spot, with plenty of nostalgia built-in. NM prices eclipse the most expensive Cosmog cards thus far by a significant margin, soaring to $2.99. LP cards still command a solid range of sales, capping out at $1.98, followed by MP cards that range from $1.20 to $2.60.
