No Good Deed
A dark comedy starring Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano is immediately compelling, and No Good Deed lives up to its gripping premise. Created by Liz Feldman, who also created the popular Netflix series Dead To Me starring Christina Applegate, No Good Deed tells the story of a married couple, Lydia (Kudrow) and Paul Morgan (Romano), who put their beautiful old Los Feliz, Los Angeles home on the market. They’re hiding some big secrets, and the people who are interested in buying their home have a lot going on, too.
No Good Deed‘s eight-episode first season became available on Netflix on December 12th, 2024 and proves that both main stars have some serious dramatic chops along with their great comedic timing. Fans of Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond might be interested in No Good Deed because of its two main stars. The series is very different from those two popular 1990s sitcoms, and that’s a good thing. It has a unique and quirky tone and tells an important story about family, love, real estate, loss, and grief.
A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder

Season 1 of the fun and thrill ride of a series premiered on July 1st, 2024. According to Netflix.tudum.com, Poppy Cogan, the showrunner, head writer, and executive producer of the show, said:
“I’m delighted to be back in Little Kilton with Pip and friends for Season 2 and to have the opportunity to bring another of Holly’s gripping stories to the screen.”
Ripley
Ripley premiered on April 4th, 2024 and is adapted from the novel The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith, which is also a 1999 movie featuring Matt Damon. Andrew Scott plays Tom Ripley, the famous con man. The series also stars Eliot Summer, Johnny Flynn, and Dakota Fanning.
Over eight episodes, Tom schemes and dreams, and Ripley was so thrilling and impressive that it won Four Emmy awards. Steven Zaillian won for Directing, Visual Effects, Cinematography, and Sound Editing. The whole series is black and white, which gives it a fascinating old-fashioned vibe that adds to the drama, horror, and intrigue. Netflix is known for producing many thrillers, from Ryan Murphy’s The Watcher and many other series to Archive 81, which was released in 2022. Ripley stands out since it’s a fresh take on a classic con artist story, which is a tale that never goes out of style.
Black Doves
Kiera Knightley stars as the main character Helen Webb in Black Doves, a spy thriller that was released on Netflix on December 5th, 2024. Helen, whose husband is the Secretary State for Defense, has an affair, and then her hidden life as a spy is at risk.
Over six compelling episodes, Black Doves tells the story of how Helen became part of this group, and it’s an emotional ride that is also packed with action. Anyone who is a fan of spy thrillers should put this on their must-watch list, especially since Knightley’s performance is so fantastic.

He gets hired to work for a private detective and investigate a situation at a retirement home. His mission? Locate a ruby necklace.
Fans of sitcoms like Brooklyn-Nine Nine and The Good Place will want to watch A Man on the Inside thanks to the talented cast which also includes Stephanie Beatriz. Danson and Beatriz are both excellent on the comedy series and the show has a perfect mix of emotion and humor.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Danson shared that he was happy to have the chance to work with the show’s creator, Mike Schur, again. Danson said:
“That would be pretty much my truth. I wouldn’t admit it around serious actors, but I would do pretty much any — no, I would do anything for Mike Schur. I truly mean that. I appreciate who he is and how he goes through life, and I appreciate him as a writer.”
