Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is a strategy RPG from MICA Team. The game was officially launched for Mobile and PC in China last year and recently launched globally. The game introduces a fresh turn-based tactical role-playing system. You get to command a squad of 4 to 5 T-Dolls to complete mission objectives such as reaching specific locations, extracting from combat zones, or eliminating enemies. In this Girls Frontline 2 Exilium: Gacha System guide we will explain how the gacha works in each banner and what type of currency you need for each banner in the game.

Breaking down the in-game Gacha System of Girls Frontline 2: Exilium

1. Beginner Procurement

Beginner Procurement is designed for new players and offers a great starting boost. You can only make 50 pulls total on this banner, and an SSR character is guaranteed within those 50 pulls thanks to a “pity” system that triggers on the last 10-pull if you haven’t already received one.

If you’re lucky, you might get more than one SSR character during these pulls. Pulls must be done in sets of 10 (no single pulls), but each 10-pull costs 8 Access Permissions instead of the usual 10, offering a 20% discount. The drop rates are 0.6% for SSR characters and 6% for SR characters. There are no “rate-up” characters on this banner, so all SSRs have an equal chance of appearing.

2. Standard Procurement

The Standard Procurement banner is the permanent banner and is always available. Use Access Permissions for this banner and save premium currency for limited banners. The drop rates are 0.3% each for SSR characters and weapons, and 6% for SR characters and weapons. Guarantees include an SR character or weapon every 10 pulls, and an SSR character or weapon every 80 pulls.

After 260 pulls, you can choose one SSR from the banner (this option is available only once). Soft pity starts at the 58th pull. The pity system does not carry over to other banners. In the Chinese version, you can set a specific SSR as “rate-up,” giving it a 50% chance of being pulled. This feature isn’t yet available in the global version. The SSR characters available in the Standard Procurement banner are Mosin-Nagant, Tololo, Sabrina, Qiongjiu, Peritya, and Vepley.

What Standard Character Should You Choose

If you’re wondering which SSR character to aim for on the Standard Banner, here are some recommendations:

  • Qiongjiu: Qiongjiu is a powerful single-target damage dealer who specializes in both Physical and Burn damage. She supports the team indirectly by boosting their overall damage through Action Support. For the early game, she is the best Standard character to obtain.
  • Tololo: Tololo is a straightforward damage dealer who shines in the early and mid-game, making progress fun and easy with her ability to act twice at the start of battles. However, as you move into the late game, her effectiveness decreases, and other damage dealers start to outshine her.

These characters are strong options for a variety of situations and will serve you well as you progress through the game. Focus on building your team around their strengths to maximize their potential.

3. Limited Procurement (Character Banner)

Limited Procurement banners introduce new characters and are available for a limited time (3-4 weeks). After the banner ends, featured SSR characters won’t be added to the standard pool. You’ll have to wait for a rerun. Use Limited Permissions or premium currency (150 Collapse Pieces or Credit Tokens per pull). The drop rates are 0.6% for SSR characters and 6% for SR characters and weapons.

Guarantees include an SR character or weapon every 10 pulls and an SSR character every 80 pulls. If you fail to pull the featured character on the first SSR, the second SSR is guaranteed to be the rate-up character (hard pity at 160 pulls). Soft pity starts at the 58th pull. Pity does not carry over to other banners.

4. Limited Procurement (Weapon Banner)

This banner focuses on obtaining featured SSR weapons. It has a similar duration and currency requirements as the Limited Character Banner. The drop rates are 0.7% for SSR weapons and 7% for SR characters and weapons. Guarantees include an SR character or weapon every 10 pulls and an SSR weapon every 70 pulls. If you fail to pull the featured weapon on the first SSR, the second SSR is guaranteed to be the rate-up weapon (hard pity at 140 pulls). Soft pity starts at the 58th pull. Pity does not carry over to other banners.

Final Thoughts

Access Permissions should be used for Standard Procurement. These can be earned through events, objectives, and shops. Save Limited Permissions for Limited Procurement banners. Standard banners don’t include newly released T-Dolls, which are exclusive to Limited Banners until reruns.

Pull rates include 0.6% for SSR characters and weapons on Limited Banners or 0.3% each on Standard Banners, and 0.7% for SSR weapons on Weapon Banners. Understanding these systems will help you plan your pulls and make the most of your resources!
