Flynn Rider has been through a lot during his stay in the Storybook Vale, and he can’t remember most of it. However, by developing a friendship with him, you can help him recover his memories and get back to his old self in no time. Here’s how to encourage him to put himself out there again!
How To Unlock Flynn’s Level Ten Friendship Quest
To unlock this quest, you’ll need to reach friendship level ten with Flynn and have Belle in your village. Additionally, you’ll need the Mount Olympus region unlocked.
Once these conditions are met, speak with Flynn Rider about how he’s doing. Together, you come up with a plan for him to write down his adventures in a book so he can share his story with the other villagers. However, Flynn’s not a writer.
Follow Flynn and listen as he talks to Belle about his idea. While she agrees to be his ghostwriter, you’re to take Flynn around the Storybook Vale and snap some photos in the following locations:
If you’re having trouble registering the photos, try hanging out with Flynn Rider and taking a picture near the most prominent landmark in the region!
- Mount Olympus
- The Wild Woods
- The fountain behind the Lorekeeper
After the photos are taken, talk to Flynn about the next steps in his business plan.
How To Craft The Book Signing Table
There are several publishers interested in Flynn’s work, and they’ve sent business cards in the mail. Check your mailbox and collect both Goofy and Scrooge’s cards, then show them to Flynn.
While he’s not sure who to go with, you settle on self-publishing. Talk to Scrooge about setting up a book signing table so you can promote Flynn’s book. You can order the Ink and Quill from Scrooge’s store, but you’ll need to gather the rest of the materials yourself:
- Marble (10)
- Pine Cone (12)
- Gravel (14)
- Petrified Wood (16)
With the materials collected, head to your Crafting Station and throw it all together.
How To Host Flynn’s Book Signing
Build the Book Signing Table and place it anywhere in the Valley. The villagers will gather around it so you can take a group photo. Afterward, speak to Flynn about the event.
He wants to chat with the Lorekeeper about everything, since she wasn’t able to attend. Follow him there and witness their conversation before checking in on Flynn one last time to see how he’s doing. This will wrap up the quest and solidify your relationship with him!
You’ll earn the Legendary Rogue outfit, courtesy of Flynn, as a token of your friendship.
