Square Enix revealed three characters from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth would be joining its high-end Masterline statue collection last month – Cloud, Sephiroth, and Zack. What it didn’t reveal is how much those statues are going to cost, but now pre-orders have opened for the Cloud and Sephiroth statues, how much they’re going to cost is now public knowledge, and it’s as bad, if not a little worse, than we all feared.
Square’s Masterline statues are not only the most high-quality collectibles the studio makes, but they’re up there with the highest quality video game collectibles money can buy. The problem is, that high quality means you need to spend a lot of money if you want to buy them. Pre-orders for Rebirth’s Masterline statues are now open with Cloud’s priced at $2,400, and his arch nemesis Sephiroth costing even more at $2,700.

The statues have been created in conjunction with Prime 1 Studio and are roughly 27 inches tall – slightly under for Cloud, slightly over for Sephiroth. Although their prices are upsettingly high, the craftsmanship and attention to detail quickly demonstrate why Masterline figures cost so much. They’re about as real as the in-game characters are ever going to be, particularly the eyes which Square paid special attention to during Cloud, Sephiroth, and Zack’s reveal video.

The Bad News Is That Means We Now Know How Much They Cost
Both Sephiroth and Cloud’s figures are holding their iconic weapons, each in a battle stance so that they look like they’re about to fight when facing one another. They’re also both standing on bases made of blue hexagons so it’s clear they’re from the same collection. The listings note that the Zack statue will have a similar base, but pre-orders for it aren’t open yet.

Square Enix’s Masterline statues are the most high-quality collectibles it sells, and now Cloud is a part of that range. The highly detailed statue is based on the way Cloud appears in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and there’s a slightly more expensive deluxe version that comes with swappable parts, including more swords.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Sephiroth Masterline Statue
Square Enix’s most high-end collectibles are its Masterline statues, and Final Fantasy 7 is finally a part of that range. Sephiroth has been immortalized as a Masterline statue, the design based on the way the iconic villain appears in Rebirth. There’s also a deluxe version that lets you replace Sephiroth’s torso with a wingless one.
There is another downside to the new Masterline figures other than the price. Like most video game collectibles, the wait for them to ship is going to be a long one. The earliest release date is for Cloud’s deluxe statue which will be here in February 2026. Square will then release one more of the four designs available so far per month through May 2026.
If you still want more from your Rebirth Masterline statues, there are more options. Pre-orders are also open for deluxe versions of the Cloud and Sephiroth statues for $200 extra for each. Cloud’s deluxe statue comes with replaceable parts so you can change its pose as well as a crystal sword to replace the Buster. Sephiroth’s deluxe statue has an alternate upper body without his one wing.
Final Fantasy Rebirth is the second part of the FF7 Remake project. It continues the story of Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER turned mercenary who joins Avalanche, a group of eco-terrorists seeking to save the planet from the malevolent Sephiroth.
