A True Arena Champion Wuthering Waves

A True Arena Champion is a relatively short Wuthering Waves side quest, but one that brings a lot of interesting perspectives on the Exile faction found in the overworld. The quest itself isn’t very difficult either, as it requires the completion of simple trials.

However, stumbling upon a sprawling Exile community and exposing the Arena Champion’s scheme is a fun ride and one that is worth the time. Completing the quest rewards players with a Premium Supply Chest, as well as an opportunity to hang out with two peaceful Tacet Discords.

While it is not a fantastic quest in terms of storyline and emotional weightage, it does a great job at exploring the culture of the people residing in Mt. Firmament. In this quest, the players will essentially make sure to uphold a traditional ritual called The Rite of Offering.

This quest allows players to explore a lot of different sub-areas in Mt. Firmament filled with beautiful scenery. It has a satisfying ending where players will be able to complete The Rite of Offering and keep the ancient tradition intact.

Uncle Hong, the main NPC of this quest, is an interesting figure as he was a legendary miner during his youth. Unfortunately, Linghan suffers from dementia and is unable to remember Jingzhu, which leads to a somber ending where Jingzhu ultimately wins over Linghan, but one where the latter is unable to realize that her current lover is the very same man she loved all those years ago.

We Promise, We Deliver is an exploration quest that will allow players to remove the Incinero Petals, which deal constant damage, in the Sea of Flames located in Port City of Guixu. It is quite a long quest, but it is also one of the very best in Wuthering Waves.

Helping a group of Exiles take down some of their rogue brethrens and restoring some semblance of order in the destroyed Port City of Guixu is a surreal experience. The final sequence where players become the Inferno Rider Echo and ride until they reach the gravity storm is one of the best cinematic experiences the game has to offer. This is a quest filled with lots of action and has a meaningful conclusion.

1

The Eternal Concert

Investigating The Mysterious Piano

The Eternal Concert Wuthering Waves
  • Starting location: Port City of Guixu

The Eternal Concert, is without a doubt, the best side quest in Wuthering Waves and one of the best quests in the entire game. Initially, it starts off as a quest to find an elderly man who has gone missing recently in an area within Port City of Guixu where the haunting sound of a piano playing reverberates. However, as the quest progresses, the properties of refractive rain come into play and reveal a tragic backstory involving the elderly man named Arin and a young woman named Siran.

The refractive rain resulted in the souls of deceased people being seen, such as Joshua, Arin’s mentor and the man Siran got a record from during his final performance before he was killed by Tacet Discords in the now-destroyed theater. It is a beautifully writen quest that excellently fleshes out the backstory of two NPCs while providing some fantastic lore about the events that took place prior to the game.
