Isekai Anime & Manga That Have Many Summoned Characters
Not all isekai anime and manga feature a single character who gets transported to another world. In these cases, groups of people get summoned.
However, some of these Isekai flip the script, sending these characters into a fantasy world dominated by monsters. Along with this change often comes a unique twist to the storyline that separates this type of Isekai from the regular ones, with the characters transported being forced to adapt, cohabit, or take over the monsters and rule them.

This anime series portrays a 30-year-old salaryman who ends up in an unfortunate accident and ends up being reincarnated as a sword. With his telekinetic abilities, he moved around, gaining abilities and skills till he came upon a Beastman girl in need. After helping the girl with her crisis, the two journey together as a weapon and wielder, with the girl aiming to achieve her parent’s dream of evolving as a race.
The world of Reincarnated As A Sword portrays a world split into multiple nations which are mostly ruled by other races, with the human nation known as Bashar being significantly weaker. Bashar holds a grudge against the Beastman nation, a nation that was able to overthrow them and either enslave them or drive them out of the Beast kingdom. As a race, there is not much they can do as they do not have any special advantages over the other races, which keeps them at the lower end of the beastman-human war.

While other variations of the human race exist, they are in general considered a weak race. At least, weaker than monsters, undead, demons, and many more. In Overlord, the human race is generally seen as inferior and does not possess any particularly distinct or superior abilities as a race. In terms of physical or magical prowess, they are severely lacking and have no special edge over the other races.

Among the few nations of the human race that exist, Slane Theocracy is one that believes in the supremacy of humans and is against invasion by non-humans. However, in the face of sheer power and ability, belief can only take one so far.

Iruma Suzuki was a young hard worker, working enough to support even his irresponsible parents while being underage. Despite this, his parents sold him to the demon, Sullivan. Luckily, for Iruma, Sulivan had no plans to hurt him, as he only wanted a grandchild and even cared for him, transferring him to a demon school. Upon realizing that Sullivan is the chairman of the school and he, Iruma, is now a candidate in the Demon King race, Iruma must get ahead of his peers while trying to hide his humanity.
Welcome To Demon School! Iruma-kun neatly spun the monster trying to hide among humans trope, this time with the human as the one hiding. Iruma has to do his best to blend in with the demons of school and also aim for the top, even if he is different from the rest and does not have the innate magical abilities they do. The anime series in general doesn’t portray much humans, at least in its primary setting, and so demons rule the world where it is set.
