Asobimo, Inc., the creator of METRIA and N-Innocence, has announced their upcoming rogue-like dungeon RPG, TOREROWA, and launched an open beta test on Android devices. The test is currently live and will be available until January 10, 2025.
Team up with your friends in a 3-person party to explore various dungeons
TOREROWA is a rogue-like dungeon RPG that allows you to team up with up to three companions to explore dungeons, known as Restos. In this game, you challenge these dungeons, with the main objective of securing valuable treasure and successfully returning alive from the dungeons through the escape portals.
The best thing about this game is that your party is not the only team in the dungeons. At the start of each expedition, up to 15 players, forming five parties including your own, are scattered throughout the dungeon. This makes the gameplay more fun and thrilling, as you can engage in combat with other parties to steal their treasure.
While fighting the monsters, including the special monsters is one thing, but the option to defeat and loot treasures from rival parties makes the gameplay experience even more engaging and increases the replayability factor.
Customize your character and wage war with some unique weapons
Not only that, the game includes a time limit for the dungeon exploration. It also includes a circular safety zone that gradually shrinks at regular intervals, like battle royale games. This game has already captured my interest.
I also like the pop-style, playful character creation, that lets you customize various parts of your character like hairstyles, hair colors, and eye shapes. One more thing you may like is the option to select from four weapon types, which include a two-handed sword, club, two-handed bow, and two-handed staff.
TOREROWA is now available as an open beta test on Android devices. If you are interested in the game, you can download the game from the Google Play Store. To celebrate the OBT launch, the devs will host a live stream on the official YouTube channel starting on December 27, 2024, explaining new features and conducting real-time interactions with players.
