Pokemon World Championship DS Systems
A Rare DS System From 2008
This Nintendo DS Lite may not seem like much at first glance, but considering less than 120 were ever made, it is understandable why they have become so valuable. This Nintendo DS Lite is orange and has the Pokemon World Championship logo on the cover.
These special DS Lites were handed out as prizes for both the TCG’s World Championship as well as the videogame tournament in 2008. The only difference is the logo. With so few in circulation, it is rare to even see one of them crop up on the second-hand market.
However, when they do emerge, they are known to sell anywhere between $1000 and $5000. So look for the special logos on the surface.

Game Boy Micro Pokemon Edition
The Strangest Game Boy
The Game Boy Micro is one of the strangest Game Boy consoles of all time. This console is meant to be a smaller version of the Game Boy Advance that can fit almost anywhere. While this is mostly a gimmick, some variations such as the Pokemon Edition are some of the rarest consoles of them all.
This red and black Game Boy Micro comes with a Pikachu symbol on the front. However, the box also comes decorated with every starter from Kanto to Hoenn. This makes it a great display option for your Pokemon shelf. The complete set in a near mint condition is known to have sold for $2800.

Blue Nintendo 64 Pikachu Edition
Never Throw Boxes Away Again
There are plenty of rare Nintendo consoles, but one in particular gave a home console a Pokemon makeover. This is the Nintendo 64 Pikachu Edition which came with two separate versions. However, if you had to choose between the orange and the blue Nintendo 64, the blue is by far more valuable.
While you may have one of these collecting dust somewhere, if you’ve kept it in good enough condition, they have been known to sell for around $300. Unopened packages, on the other hand, have sold between $2000 and $4000. The box is covered in screenshots showcasing Hey You Pikachu, which is also included with the system.

A booster box of the very first Pokemon TCG set is among the most valuable, with specific hits being very desirable. One of the best hits is the Base Set, Shadowless Charizard. Since this came from an unopened box, the card can be sent for minting, which gives even more spoils down the road.
However, opening sealed products from this era is always a risk. Would you put a $20,000 box on the line?

Pokemon 2000 Film Frame
The Power Of Animation

Illustrator Pikachu
The Most Expensive Pokemon Card From 1998
Pokemon cards tend to be some of the most valuable collectibles when it comes to rare items. And one exclusive Japanese Pikachu is valued at over five million dollars. The card was released in 1998 as a promo card for Corocoro magazine in Japan. So, of course, many of these could have easily gotten damaged as they get passed around within the magazine.
A PSA Grade 10 was sold to the Youtuber Logan Paul in 2022. While this was done as a publicity stunt, it is still the most anyone has ever paid for a Pokemon card. This makes it the most expensive card and collectible ever sold.
