Think you’ve got what it takes to cut it as cyber-ninja? Ghostrunner 2 is your chance to find out as you leap, slash and race to save a dystopian society. This futuristic parkour game is free on the Epic Games Store, nearly a year after Epic gave away the original.
Ghostrunner 2 isn’t just more of the same, though. There’s plenty of action platforming, but you’ll also get to blast through the city on a bike, something that’s proven a little divisive, but you can’t deny it looks awesome.
Not only is it gorgeous to look at, it’s a joy to play. In our Ghostrunner 2 review we said that it “Improves upon everything that made its predecessor great,” and post-launch updates have made an even better game, something we didn’t think was possible.
It now boasts a roguelike mode, added with the Year of the Dragon update, as well as a Chinese voice-over which will make Blade Runner fans feel right at home. Also in the tradition of Blade Runner, Cyberpunk 2077 and other similar media, there’s a twist or two to keep you on your toes.
