Among all the locations found in the game, Pelican Town is where a crucial number of characters and activities are available. Within Pelican Town, the Stardrop Saloon—owned by Gus—is a point of interest that houses various interactive objects, from arcade machines to a jukebox. Recently, one talented fan recreated this memorable place in gingerbread form. Reddit user burset225 shared a snapshot of their Stardew Valley-inspired gingerbread house created as part of their annual Christmas festivities. The post depicted a Stardrop Saloon-like structure made out of confectionary, starting from slabs of gingerbread for the walls of the saloon to an arrangement of chocolate bars for the roof. Moreover, the detailing for the notice board text and the green vine growing on the wall was evidently done using different colors of frosting. Additionally, gummies and biscuit sticks seem to have been used for portraying the windows and the door of Stardew Valley‘s Stardrop Saloon, respectively.

Burset225’s elaborate dessert received appreciation from other Stardew Valley fans in the game’s namesake subreddit. While an enthusiastic comment said, “Excellent execution!!,” another one simply stated that they “love” the dedicated fan’s work. Commending the detailed nature of the custom gingerbread house, one user said, “The frosting font is a vibe.” As is expected around this time of the year, burset225’s Stardrop Saloon gingerbread house is one among many Christmas-oriented fan creations going viral in the gaming community. Previously, a Pokemon fan’s themed Christmas Tree decorations had caught the attention of other fans.
With Stardew Valley approaching its ninth-year anniversary in 2025, players are getting increasingly excited about ConcernedApe’s next project. First announced in 2021, Haunted Chocolatier is a forthcoming game that will put players into the shoes of a confectionary store owner living in a town infested with ghosts.
