The art features a number of Gen 1 Pokemon, plus Ash, Misty, and Brock, with Pikachu in the spotlight. An eBay listing shared by one fan indicates that the same classic Pokemon wrapping paper originated in either 1999 or 2000, and is selling for 100x the price the OP’s mom spent, at $50 USD before shipping. Some players are so nostalgic for the wrapping paper that they’re considering buying their own, while many more suggested that the OP save the remainder of it and possibly even frame it somewhere.
