Marvel Rivals has a pretty massive number of characters to try out, given it’s a game that launched not even a month ago. Sure, most of them are Duelists, which is causing some headaches regarding team composition, but it’s still great that the game has so many options right off the bat, and not all of them are Marvel mainstays.
Gamers are always looking forward though, and even though we can’t possibly have gone through and mastered each character we’ve been given so far, there are already calls from some for certain characters to be added next. Marvel Rivals fans took to ResetEra earlier this month to put forward their choices for which heroes, villains, anti-heroes, or little gremlins should be added next.
Marvel Rivals Fans Want Cyclops And Ms. Marvel To Be Added Next
Even though there’s plenty of representation for the X-Men so far – with Wolverine, Magneto, and Storm – that hasn’t stopped the most popular pick for the game’s next character being Cyclops. His name crops up quite a lot in the ResetEra thread, mentioned by users like CountAntonio, Hyrdruxo, Chirotera, and many more.
There are plenty of calls for other X-Men characters too, as both Gambit and Nightcrawler are also mentioned, and while he may not be an official X-Man, Deadpool is another very popular pick.

Outside the X-Men, there are a couple more names that crop up a fair few times. Ms. Marvel is another surprisingly popular pick, with a user called JakeNoselt claiming it’s “crazy she’s not here day one”. Spider-Man representation is already pretty good in Marvel Rivals, but a lot of people also want the likes of Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, and Doctor Ock in there somehow. To be honest, you can never have enough Spider-rep.
Unfortunately, recent datamines into Marvel Rivals kind of shoot down the chances of these characters coming to the game, at least soon. Shortly after launch, dataminers found various characters in the game’s files, including most of The Fantastic Four. mr Fantastic had a full model leak, so it’s very possible he could be next up. I guess we’ll find out when Season 0 ends.
