Pripyat is one of the most iconic locations in the Stalker universe and is also a part of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. However, players will need to progress into the late-game missions to access this location, which could take a lot of hours due to the length of the campaign. Instead, there’s an easy way for you to get into Pripyat early and explore it as well as unlock its base, so you can fast travel to the region and back with ease.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl has several weapons for players to use, but some of them are special and a cut above the rest.
How to Reach Pripyat Early in Stalker 2
To enter Pripyat early in Stalker 2, players must first make their way into the Yaniv region, located in the northwest corner of the map. It’s the same area where you might have secured the Weird Bolt artifact in the Tornado anomaly. Head towards the location marked on the map above to reach a train shed with an open carriage.
Vaulting Over the Train to Enter Jupiter Region
Now, this is the trickiest part of getting access to Pripyat early, as you’ll have to use a bit of parkour skills to vault over the train carriage to enter the Jupiter region. Here’s what you have to do.
- Climb over the cinder blocks in front of the open train carriage.
- Turn around and jump on top of the thin metal fence behind you. Landing the jump may take a few attempts, but it’s relatively easier than the next part.
- Now, you’ll need to use the fence as a ramp to run and jump in the gap between the carriages with barbed wire. Try to aim for the left section of the gap to get a better footing, as aiming for the center will push you back to the ground. This will take a lot of attempts before your character finally latches itself inside the gap.
- Once you’ve landed in the gap between carriages, climb on top of the carriage to your right and drop to the other side to enter the Jupiter region of Stalker 2.
Reaching Pripyat from Jupiter
There’s a path highlighted in the image above that you’ll need to follow to enter Pripyat. Once you enter Pripyat, keep following the road until you see the Palace of Culture base marked on your map. It’ll be along the left side of the path past the Shopping Mall.
Unlocking the Palace of Culture Base
If you want to exit or enter Pripyat easily, unlocking the base is very crucial. Once you spot the Palace of Culture, enter the building and head upstairs to unlock the base. Here, you can interact with the vendor, Bolero the technician, and most importantly, Telegraph the guide. You can use the guide to exit the Pripyat region instead of making the long journey on foot. Pripyat will be unlocked as a fast travel point for other guides as well.
There’s also a bed here to sleep and an item stash to store or retrieve all your items. Being one of the late-game areas, Pripyat is filled with high-quality loot and vendors here sell some of the best stuff in Stalker 2.
