Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is a strategy RPG from MICA Team. The game was officially launched for Mobile and PC in China last year and recently launched globally. This Girls’ Frontline 2 Exilium Characters Build guide will walk you through the systems that help you customize and strengthen your T-Dolls, so you can use them to their full potential.
Girls’ Frontline 2 Exilium Characters Progression and Overview
The easiest way to increase a T-Doll’s power is by leveling it up using Combat Reports. However, there are limits. Your T-Doll’s max level is tied to your Commander Level. Starting from level 20, you’ll need to perform a limit break every 10 levels to continue progressing.
T-Dolls Classes
In Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, T-Dolls are organized into four unique classes:
- Bulwark Class
- Role: Tank
- Key Features: Acts as the frontline and provides defensive buffs to the team.
- Sentinel Class
- Role: Damage Dealer (DPS)
- Key Features: Focuses on delivering consistent damage to enemies.
- Vanguard Class
- Role: Scout/Sub-DPS
- Key Features: Highly mobile, perfect for flanking maneuvers and adding extra damage.
- Support Class
- Role: Healer/Buffer
- Key Features: Offers healing and various buffs to enhance your team’s performance.
T-Dolls Primary Stats
Each T-Doll has seven primary stats:
- Attack (ATK): Determines the damage output. Most skills scale with ATK.
- Defense (DEF): Reduces incoming damage, making your T-Doll more durable.
- Health (HP): Represents the maximum health. A unit is defeated when this reaches zero.
- Critical Hit: The chance for an attack to deal extra damage.
- Critical Damage: How much additional damage a Critical Hit deals.
- Stability Index: Grants 60% Damage Reduction (DR) when near cover. This bonus is lost when Stability hits zero.
- Action Points: Determines how many tiles a T-Doll can move during their turn.
T-Dolls Character Kit
Every T-Doll has five skills that define their combat role and playstyle. Additionally, each T-Doll has Weaknesses: Elemental Weaknesses and Ammo Weaknesses. For example, a T-Doll can be weak to Light Ammo and Burn (Fire).
- Basic Attack: A straightforward, single-target attack.
- Active Skills (x2): Abilities with cooldowns that can deal damage or provide support.
- Ultimate Skill: A powerful ability that uses Confectance Points (special skill energy).
- Passive Skill: Always active, providing various effects.
Neural Helix and Keys
The Neural Helix is essentially a skill tree that lets you unlock extra stats and Keys, which provide passive effects. Keys allow you to specialize your T-Dolls in specific roles. If you’re unsure how to build your T-Dolls, the game provides a Growth Recommendation system with popular build suggestions.
Types of Keys
- Fixed Keys: Unique to the character and unlocked through Neural Helix progression.
- Common Keys: Earned by fully upgrading the Neural Helix of other characters. These can be shared across multiple T-Dolls.
- Mod Key: A special key that amplifies the character’s abilities. It’s unlocked after obtaining Common Keys and spending Cores. Mod Keys don’t take up regular key slots and are only available for select T-Dolls.
Fortification System
The Fortification system replaces the old Skill Training mechanics. Now, duplicates of T-Dolls (called “dupes”) are used to enhance their skills. All skills are unlocked at base level, and dupes simply make these skills stronger. To track your Fortification progress, use symbols like V0 (no Fortification) up to V6 (max Fortification).
Affinity System: Implicit Feedback
Bonding with your T-Dolls increases their Affinity Level, unlocking rewards such as materials and cosmetics. Reaching Feedback Level 5 allows you to form a Covenant with the T-Doll, a special bond akin to marriage in the game. Additionally, Affinity Levels improve your Dispatch Room, granting passive stats and better production rewards.
Weapons and Rarity
Each T-Doll can equip one of seven weapon types, each tied to a specific ammo type. By leveling up weapons, their main stats improve. As expected, higher-rarity weapons offer better stat ranges.
- Assault Rifle: Medium Ammo
- Handgun: Light Ammo
- Light Machine Gun: Heavy Ammo
- Submachine Gun: Light Ammo
- Shotgun: Shotgun Ammo
- Sniper Rifle: Heavy Ammo
- Sword: Melee
Weapons come in three rarities:
- R: Basic weapons with flat ATK stats.
- SR: Improved weapons with slightly better stats.
- SSR: High-end weapons with percentage-based secondary stats (e.g., ATK%, Crit DMG%).
