A popular Japanese website named GameWith conducted a survey in the game’s community where players were asked to choose their overall favorite character and the best picks for two roles: DPS and support. Unsurprisingly, the most popular character overall is the Hydro Archon, Furina, who arrived in Genshin Impact‘s Fontaine arc. Furina’s Archon Quest is considered by many to be the best storyline in the game so far, especially since it portrays the character in a much different way compared to previous ones. Furina is also the most popular support pick due to her stacked kit, which allows her to fit almost every team composition in the game that needs Hydro damage. Furina can also swap between the Pneuma and Ousia energy forms, which heavily impacts her playstyle.
