Fortnite x Arcane skins could come back in 2025

The Fortnite x Arcane skins have not been in the Item Shop since February 2022. They have quickly become some of the rarest skins in the game. Jinx and Vi were introduced in Chapter 2 Season 8, and they got 21 total appearances in the shop. Anyone who bought them then is lucky, as they still haven’t returned.

Despite there being ample chances to tie in with things happening with the show, Epic Games hasn’t restocked them. Now, we may know why and we may have a little bit of hope that they’ll finally be put in the shop again soon.

Fortnite Arcane Skins May Finally Be On the Way

Jinx and Vi were created to commemorate the first episode of Arcane in Fortnite. Many shows and movies get skins in Fortnite for their launch or release. A co-founder of Riot Games was asked about the skins coming back. He reportedly said that it was Riot Games’ fault.

“It’s on us (that they don’t return). We only did it for the original launch of Arcane,” they said.

According to ShiinaBR, a prominent leaker, the initial announcement of that went fairly viral. In response, the Riot Games co-founder addressed the situation again, saying, “I will talk to the team about Arcane skins in Fortnite, not sure what we can do if anything, but I will look into it.” This is the first indication that they could be back, like Master Chief, since the Arcane skins left in the first place.

Epic Games apparently only had the skins for the launch, which is why they haven’t returned despite there being new episodes and seasons since then. Those would be perfect opportunities to capitalize and sell the outfits and bundle a lot, but Epic never took advantage. Now, it’s more clear why they did that and there seems to be some momentum to get them back in the shop soon.
