The Advance Server in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has revealed the 128th hero to the MLBB roster. It’s none other than Kalea. There have been rumors and various leaks concerning the details of this hero within MLBB. Many have long believed her to be a fully support-focused hero, but this isn’t true. Kalea in MLBB: Skills Explained
Kalea, also known as the Surging Wave, is in the Support and Fighter role within MLBB. This makes her one of the most all-rounded heroes in the game. Her specialty is crowd control and health regen.
With abilities focused on mobility, healing teammates, and even lifting opponents into the air, the hero will have a higher skill ceiling than most. According to the information on the MLBB Advance Server, Kalea’s recommended lane is the EXP Lane. Players must pay 32,000 coins or 599 diamonds to unlock Kalea within MLBB. Let us take a look at all of her abilities within the game:
Passive: Surge of Life
Whenever Kalea uses a skill, she creates a water zone on the ground. If she uses an ability within this area, she absorbs the skill to boost her subsequent three basic attacks, which have varying effects.
- The first basic attack consists of Kalea dashing towards her enemies and dealing 100 Physical damage.
- Her second basic attack consists of her unleashing a flurry of attacks, dealing 100 Physical damage, and recovering 6% of her total health for herself and her allies.
- Finally, the third basic attack consists of Kalea using her tail to strike the area around the enemy. This strike will deal 200 Physical damage and create a new Water Zone.
Skill 1: Wavebreaker
- Cooldown: 4.0 seconds
- Type: AOE
- During this skill, Kalea slams her fist onto the ground. This results in her unleashing a powerful wave of water that deals 180 total Physical damage to all enemies hit by the wave. Due to her passive ability, following this skill, her subsequent three basic attacks are also enhanced.
Skill 2: Tidal Strike
- Cooldown: 13 seconds at level 1, 11 seconds at level 5
- Type: Mobility (CC Skill)
- Kalea’s Tidal Strike skill has two variants. During this skill, Kalea dashes forward and body slams the closest enemy she passes. Due to the body slam, the enemy will be lifted into the air for 0.6 seconds while dealing 150 Physical damage.
If Kalea, while using this skill, crashes into an obstacle, she leaps into the air. Following this, players can select a target location where they will slam down, deal 150 Physical damage, and knock enemies into the air for 0.6 seconds.
Ultimate: Tsunami Slam
- Cooldown: 55 seconds at level 1, 50 seconds at level 2, 45 seconds at level 3
- During this Ultimate, Kalea grabs the enemy with her tail and slams them onto the ground, dealing 300 Physical damage. The player can decide the direction in which the enemy is slammed into the ground. The attack’s impact not only deals 300 Physical damage to the enemy but also to other enemies within the area where the initial enemy was slammed on the ground.
When Will Kalea Be Released in the Game?
The answer is currently unknown. Since the hero is currently being tested for bugs in the MLBB Advance Server across Android and iOS via Testflight, Kalea isn’t far away.
