S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl has a lengthy list of main missions for players to make their way through. Players will be able to start Hornet’s Nest once they have finished the previous main mission, Just like the Good Old Days.
This mission can be hard due to the high number of enemies; it is imperative that players stock up on plenty of ammo, healing items, and have some powerful weapons. Also, be sure to repair and upgrade your gear to operate at peak performance.

How to Get the Sphere in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
Once players start this mission, they will want to head to the facility marked on the map — more specifically, the giant spherical building. There will be some enemies waiting in the area, so be ready for a fight. There are plenty of unique weapons to get in the game, so picking them up will give players all the tools they need to overcome any fight.
Players will be able to enter the facility from the west side, where there is an opening in the wall. Players will want to use cover to their advantage as there are a lot of enemies between them and the objective marker.
There are many important choices players will need to make throughout the game. These choices can change the story and even change how players will be able to complete missions. If the NPC known as Solder is still alive at this point of the game, they can be encountered as an optional objective.
While coming from the west side of the marked building, players will find a burning tank. To the east of this tank will be a door with stairs heading up. There will be plenty of enemies inside this building, so always be ready to heal up after falling back behind a corner.
Solder can be found on the east side of this building after heading up all the stairs. Expend all of Solder’s dialog to get a new marker on the map where players can shut down the Sphere’s generator. Head back out the door you came from and turn left. Follow the corridors towards the marked location. Disabling this generator from the optional objective will prevent players from suffering the effects of the radiation present in the final room.
There are plenty of enemies along the way to the final marked location of the mission, but the key element to remember is to always head up any stairs you come to. Players will be making their way up plenty of stairs throughout this mission, but they will inevitably find the source of the radiation where they can get the Emitter they need to complete this mission. After taking the Emitter, the final objective of the mission will be to leave the Sphere.
