Fugue Build In HSR – Honkai: Star Rail

Fugue Build In HSR - Honkai: Star Rail

Although Fugue is a Nihility unit in Honkai: Star Rail, she still operates more as a Harmony unit. She kept her playstyle as Tingyun where she places a buff for three turns on an ally, allowing them to deal better Break DMG.

Of course, as a Nihility character, she also needs to prove herself worthy of the Path by applying debuffs. Fugue can place a simple DEF reduction on the enemies, but her unique feature is the additional Toughness she places on the enemy. This extra Toughness will cause foes to get Break DMG more often.

To maximize Fugue’s potential, focus on building her with SPD and Break Effect. Additionally, some of her skills apply a DEF debuff to enemies with a 100% base chance. So, slightly boosting her Effect Hit Rate should enhance her chances of successfully applying this debuff on harder enemies and bosses. However, if Fugue Light Cone and Sub-stats already got her to 60-70% Effect Hit Rate, you don’t need more than that.

Now, going back to Break Effect, building Fugue with 4pc of Thief of Shooting Meteor grants the most Break Effect on top of some extra Energy when she breaks enemies’ Toughness. It’s a good set for her Supportive approach as she will constantly drain monsters’ Toughness with her Ultimate. You can also build Fugue with 4pc of Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge to maximize her DMG when she breaks an enemy’s Toughness. The set’s max potential is unlocked at 250% Break Effect, which is very close to Fugue’s Trace’s passive, which needs a 220% Break Effect.

As for Planar Ornaments, build Fugue with Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern to increase her SPD and Break Effect by an extra 40% since she’s a Fire unit in Honkai: Star Rail. As a Support, you should give Fugue as much SPD as possible to get more actions. For that, unlocking the second passive of the Talia: Kingdom of Banditry set becomes easy and Fugue can get an extra 36% Break Effect for her stats.

You can also build Fugue with Sprightly Vonwacq to increase her SPD and make sure she will always start the battle. That’s good for her gameplay as she will immediately apply the Foxian Prayer state on one ally and enter her Torrid Scorch state.

14 Most Overpowered Honkai: Star Rail Characters According To Lore

Honkai: Star Rail has an amazing roster of characters from various backgrounds. Here’s how powerful each of them is according to lore.

Incessant Rain and Those Many Springs are good choices for Fugue as they increase her Effect Hit Rate alongside granting her the ability to debuff enemies with an effect that helps her team deal more DMG. This is good on Fugue since she has AoE attacks on both her Basic ATK and Ultimate.

As for 4-star Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail, you can go for Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat, Before the Tutorial Mission Starts, or Fermata. Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat allows Fugue to further shred enemies’ DEF with her attacks, while Before the Tutorial Mission Starts gives her some Effect Hit Rate on top of some Energy when she attacks a DEF-reduced enemy.

Finally, you can always go with the F2P 5-star Light Cone, Solitary Healing. It grants Fugue some Break Effect, which is important for her. But, other than that, Solitary Healing effects are niche for her mechanics.
