It’s not a live service game.

Drinking games are one way to liven up a party. However, for all you Baldur’s Gate 3 fans out there, the community has come up with a great way to enjoy the game and get absolutely tanked. So, if you’re playing Baldur’s Gate 3 by yourself or with friends, you can try playing this fun little game that might take a lot of points away from your Perception.

Fill Up Your Tankards

Over on the Baldur’s Gate 3 subreddit, the community has been coming up with a drinking game involving the beloved RPG. Initially posted by cosmiccosmo7, the game follows the “drink if…” formula, where you take a sip whenever one of the things noted down happens. OP already had a few things on the board and asked the community to help them with the rest.

Tav has been known to repeat a few lines over and over again, so one adventurous comment mentioned that they should drink every time Tav says one of their famous lines, including “I’ve got a lot on my mind. And, well, in it.” Anybody who has played the game knows that’s a recipe for disaster!

Another comment made things interesting for those who like to play co-op and mentioned that they should drink every time a person gets separated from the group or when a rogue gets caught stealing.

Someone decided to take things up a notch by suggesting, “I’d suggest a modifier to one if this. Take a sip if someone misses a perception check, but take a shot when the whole party fails.” That’s going to make things tense if your party’s perception stat isn’t that high!

Knowing their companions pretty well, another suggested drinking if “an NPC says something racist to one or more of your party, every time the Dream Visitor “never once lied” to you, or when Shadowheart says something passive-aggressive after the companion gave her a fair answer.”

The beauty of this format is that you can apply any rule you want, and even customise it based on how you and your friends play.
