All kinds of games are celebrating the holiday season with free content for players, and the mega-popular Palworld is no exception. One of 2024’s biggest success stories, Palworld just recently launched its biggest post-launch content update so far, adding new Pals, a new island, and more to the open world survival game.
Some months after launch, Palworld released an update that allowed players to customize certain Pals using skins. Palworld skins can be customized using the Pal Dressing Facility, which is available to build at level 1. All players need is 10 Stone and 10 Paldium Fragments. After building the Pal Dressing Facility, Palworld players can deck out their Pals with special skins, including the six new skins that were added to celebrate Christmas.

The official Palworld Twitter account has confirmed six Christmas skins for all players to use in the game right now. After building the Pal Dressing Facility and updating their game to the latest version, Palworld players can customize Chillet, Chillet Ignis, Frostallion, Shadowbeak, Gumoss, and Depresso with festive new looks. Unlike some Palworld Pal skins, the Christmas skins are not limited-time, so players will be able to use them long after the Christmas season is over.

This isn’t unlike how Palworld handled the Halloween skins that were added to the game back in October. As some may recall, Palworld added four free Halloween skins to the game to celebrate the spooky season. The Palworld Halloween skins put a Jack-o-lantern on Cattiva’s head, gave Cattiva a witchier appearance, decked out Pengullet in pirate gear, and gave Croajiro a witch hat. The Halloween skins were well-received, and it seems as though the community likes the Palworld Christmas skins as well.
It will be interesting to see what new Palworld skins are added in 2025. Despite legal troubles with Nintendo, developer Pocketpair has big plans for Palworld in 2025 as the game continues marching towards its eventual 1.0 release. Whether those plans include more holiday-themed skins remains to be seen, but Palworld fans will find out in the months ahead. They can check out the new Christmas-themed skins in the meantime.
