The elusive Northstar Serpent is the rarest fish in Fisch, and it is a challenging task to catch it. Here’s how to do so.

What Are Energy Crystals In Fisch?

Fisch Crystals

Energy Crystals are special quest items needed to solve the puzzle at the top of the mountain in the Glacial Grotto location. The reward for doing so is access to the Heaven’s Rod storage location, which is by far one of the best tools in the game. In total, you need to find four Energy Crystals and then insert them into the large crystals to solve the puzzle in Fisch.

Blue Energy Crystal Location

Fisch Blue Energy Crystal

The Blue Crystal is the easiest to get in Fisch, as it is located almost at the base of the mountain. Climb the mountain on the left side from the start of the Northern Summit location until you reach the campsite. There, you will find a small cave with a Blue Energy Crystal stuck in the ice. To get it, you need to buy a Pickaxe at the next campsite. For convenience, follow these coordinates to get to the first Energy Crystal:

  • (X: 20216, Y: 211, Z: 5443)

Green Energy Crystal Location

The second Energy Crystal is extremely easy to miss, as the method for obtaining it is not obvious. First, players need to get to the second camp, where they can purchase a Pickaxe. To the right of it, you can find a large cave with a small pond. In this cave is the ??? NPC, with whom you just need to talk to get the Green Energy Crystal in Fisch. The NPC is located at the following coordinates:

  • (X: 19871, Y: 447, Z: 5552.)

Mutations not only boost the value of a catch but also affect its appearance. Here’s a rundown on all the mutations in Fisch and how to get them.

Yellow Energy Crystal Location

Fisch Avalanche Totem

The Yellow Energy Crystal is the hardest Crystal to get. It only spawns during the Avalanche event. It happens randomly but can be summoned using the Totem of the same name. Players can find it between the second and third camps and purchase it for 150,000 C$. When the event is active, you need to be on a certain ledge at these coordinates:

  • (X: 19501, Y: 335, Z: 5549.)

Red Energy Crystal Location

Fisch NPC

After you collect the Crystals described above, you can start looking for the Red Energy Crystal. It is important to note that it can only be obtained last. Players must talk to the NPC next to the large crystals on top of the mountain. He will ask you to reveal secrets on other islands in Fisch. In fact, you have to find and press the red buttons on five islands:

  • Moosewood Island
  • Snowcap Island
  • Forsaken Shores
  • Roslit Bay
  • Ancient Isle

After pressing all five buttons, return to the NPC on top of the mountain. He will give you the Red Energy Crystal, and you will have the choice to buy it for 250,000C$ or steal it and run away.

Stealing it is not recommended, as there are some bad consequences. We won’t write what will happen to avoid spoilers, but you’re better off not doing it.

Finally, after collecting all the Energy Crystals in Fisch, you need to insert them into the large crystals. This will open the passage to Heaven’s Rod, but be prepared for the fact that it is quite expensive — namely 1,750,000C$.
