Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been one of the surprises of the year. While the side quests may be a bit bloated and the Steam Deck version may have a lot of issues, Machine Games has managed to capture the magic of Indy thanks to its unique puzzles and a great performance by Troy Baker.

Indiana Jones being an old-fashioned game is absolutely fine (and what we need).
With the game doing so well, you have to ask the question – will we get more Indy video games? While there’s been no official word, trusted sources say there are already other games starring the adventurer in development.
Indiana Jones And The Other Games In Development
According to a tweet by Daniel Richtman, an insider in the movie industry, it “Looks like we’re getting more Indy games.” However, there’s no word on which studio is making these games, Machine Games or otherwise. This news has been further corroborated by Jez Corden of Windows central, who replied to the tweet with an “It’s true” gif.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle caused a bit of a stir when it was revealed that the game would be in a first-person perspective. While we have no idea what formula these reported new games will follow, I’m personally hoping for an Indiana Jones metroidvania platformer. Imagine Indy falling into an ancient tomb and having to find items and relics to make his way through it.
We’re probably not going to hear about these Indiana Jones games any time soon. They’re most probably in very early stages of development, and these devs may also want to give players some breathing room after The Great Circle.
Troy Baker’s performance as Indy was one of the biggest reasons for the success of the game. However, it seems Todd Howard was initially not too convinced with the voice actor, as he appears in so many video games. But it seems Baker convinced him otherwise, especially after creative director Axel Torvenius couldn’t tell his performance apart from the sample voice of Harrison Ford.
Baker revealed that he initially thought he was going to be replaced, until Howard reassured him via an email saying, “You’re doing a hell of a job.”
Uncover one of history’s greatest mysteries in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle™, a first-person, single-player adventure set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. The year is 1937, sinister forces are scouring the globe for the secret to an ancient power known as the Great Circle, and only one person can stop them – Indiana Jones. You’ll become the legendary archaeologist in this cinematic action-adventure game from MachineGames, the award winning studio behind the recent Wolfenstein series, and executive produced by Hall of Fame game designer Todd Howard.
