As one of the strongest characters in Marvel Rivals, many players will have to play against Luna Snow. She has high damage potential and can quickly escape from enemies trying to pin her down, so it can be a bit of a challenge to take her out. It’s really important to understand how to do just that because her Ultimate can completely change the tide of a fight.
Thankfully, some Marvel Rivals heroes are great picks to counter her. Anyone who can overwhelm her easily or keep up with her is ideal, but Duelists who can do a lot of damage from afar also tend to be good against her. Here are the best characters to counter Luna Snow in Marvel Rivals.

Captain America
Super Speed and High Damage
- Class: Vanguard
- Difficulty: Three stars
Captain America’s abilities are built for him to quickly close the gap between himself and his enemies. Leading Dash makes him one of the fastest characters in the game, and Vibranium Energy Saw allows him to finish off anyone who’s trying to get away. As a result, he’s one of the best heroes players can use against Luna Snow.
Luna Snow has a lot of damage potential, so having a character like Captain America who has the speed and health to catch up to her and do damage is essential. Even if Cap doesn’t necessarily take her out, he can distract her for long enough that the enemy team doesn’t have enough healing and loses the fight. Cap is also a great choice because he can provide extra support to his flankers trying to take down Strategists as well.

Hawkeye
One-Shot Potential
- Class: Duelist
- Difficulty: Four stars
As a Strategist, Luna Snow has one of the smaller health pools out of all the Marvel Rivals heroes. This means that she’s particularly vulnerable to characters like Hawkeye, who can take her down in one shot. His Archer’s Focus passive makes him even more dangerous, as the more he hones in on a target, the more damage he will do. The main issue with Hawkeye is that he can take some practice to get right, but once you’ve got it, he is a deadly counter to Luna Snow.
Additionally, his Ultimate ability can make her life difficult. It creates afterimages of enemies, and if he shoots those images, the enemy will take damage. This is a pretty hard counter to her Smooth Skate. Even if she has activated it in an attempt to get away, you can target these afterimages and get a ton of damage on her – so much so that she’ll end up biting the dust. Hawkeye essentially creates less space for Luna Snow to play in, which makes it challenging for her to get healing to her team.

Venom
High Mobility and Slowing Abilities
- Class: Vanguard
- Difficulty: One star
The second Vanguard that’s a great counter to Luna Snow is Venom, who has an excellent ability to jump into enemy backlines and do a lot of damage quickly. Venom Swing and Alien Biology give him incredible mobility, which can make it difficult to see him coming, and Frenzied Arrival allows him to do damage as he lands on his target and finishes them off with his normal attack.
This high mobility and damage potential makes him a great counter alone, but the fact that he’s incredibly difficult to kill with his high health afforded by Symbiotic Resilience means he won’t be easy to take down. Lastly, Cellular Corrosion actually slows anyone who is caught in it, meaning that Luna Snow’s Smooth Skate will quickly become irrelevant, and she’ll have a difficult time trying to get away from him.
2
Star-Lord
High Mobility and High Damage
- Class: Duelist
- Difficulty: Two stars
Star-Lord is one of the strongest characters in Marvel Rivals, and for good reason. He can quickly engage in fights while staying in the air, and he has incredible damage potential, especially with abilities like Blaster Barrage. He’s the perfect hero for anyone who thrives on playstyles like Tracer from Overwatch, where you need to get in quickly, laser down an enemy, and get out just as fast.
Star-Lord’s Ultimate also lets him free-fly and amplifies this damage, making it one of the best Duelist Ultimates in the game. All of these abilities come together as a great counter for Luna Snow, because not only will she find it difficult to get away from him, but she will be on low health before she notices he’s there. Because Star-Lord can stay in the air, it can also be very difficult for Luna players to keep track of where he is and try to damage him or freeze him with Absolute Zero.

1
Iron Fist
High Fire-Rate. Mobility, And Damage
- Class: Duelist
- Difficulty: Four stars
Ironically, Iron Fist is both one of the best heroes to play alongside Luna Snow and one of her best counters. Luna has a lot of damage potential, but she falls slightly short when it comes to her rate of fire. This is the first reason that Iron Fist is so strong against her, as he has one of the highest rates of fire in the game.
Secondly, Crane Leap and Wall Runner give him the ability to quickly close the gap between him and Luna Snow. While her Smooth Skate makes her pretty fast, Iron Fist usually has no trouble keeping up with her – even outpacing her in some situations – which makes her escape efforts a lot more challenging. Especially paired with a hero like Captain America, it can be incredibly difficult for Luna Snow to survive in Marvel Rivals against this Duelist.
