An Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has recreated the iconic shower scene from Chris Columbus’ 1992 Christmas movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. The scene in question features Macaulay Culkin’s Kevin McCallister fooling Tim Curry’s Mr. Hector into thinking the boy’s father is showering with music playing in the background, instead of staying in the lavish Plaza Hotel himself. Kevin and Mr Hector’s expressions were reimagined perfectly in the animation, and a mix of the blow-up clown doll Kevin uses and the likeness of his grumpy Uncle Frank was also achieved. This isn’t the first time Home Alone has been recreated in a video game, however, as The Sims 4 player built Kevin’s house in the life sim.
