The Mystery Of One Piece Chapter 907 Finally Solved
- Shanks’s twin met the Five Elders in One Piece 907
- There is a certain pirate he wanted to talk about
One Piece chapter 907 introduced fans to quite a massive mystery. This came absolutely out of nowhere during the Reverie Arc. Right in the middle of the Reverie, fans saw a mysterious hooded figure enter the Room of Authority inside the Pangea Castle in the Holy Land of Marijoa. Initially, the appearance of this person was not clear. However, Oda then went on to reveal on the very last page of One Piece chapter 907 that this person was none other than Shanks. It is not hard to understand why this particular panel shocked all the fans.
I want to talk to you about a certain pirate! – Shanks’s Twin
Shanks is a pirate and, above all, one of the four Emperors of the Sea. He should have had no reason to go speak with the World Government, unless he was a part of the Government himself. Even considering the fact that Shanks is of Celestial lineage, he should most definitely not have been allowed in Marijoa without being arrested. After all, Shanks does have a 4.0489 billion berry Bounty on his head. This led fans to believe that Shanks is a traitor and is actually working for the Government. However, knowing the character of Shanks, this was never going to be true. One Piece chapter 1134 finally explained this to the fans now and it has been officially confirmed that Shanks has a twin brother. This twin seemingly works for the Government.
This should not confuse all the fans because the clues were there all along. For one, in One Piece chapter 907, when “Shanks” was talking to the Government, the scar on his face was purposely hidden. Of course, this was not easy to catch, but there were other elements at play. For instance, during the God Valley Incident that fans got to witness through the Kuma flashback, Saint Garling Figarland was shown to the fans and he resembled Shanks from top to bottom, his hair aside. Garling then revealed to the fans that he had a few children. More specifically, he ordered his children to watch him in combat carefully. Of course, this was clear indication for the fans that Shanks is not an only child and that he does have siblings.
At the time of the God Valley, Shanks would have been about 1-year-old or less. Meanwhile, Shanks’s sibling would have been either around the same age, if they were a twin, or slightly older. Regardless of which way Oda would have gone with it, what fans took from this was the Shanks did have a sibling. Then, Oda introduced a member of the God’s Knights and in terms of silhouette, this person looked just like Shanks. One Piece chapter 1121 introduced this character once again in silhouette, and his appearance looked very similar to Shanks once again. And finally, One Piece chapter 1134 revealed this character to the fans once again as he dropped out of nowhere in Elbaf using a summoning circle that was previously being used by the Five Elders.
With it already being clear that Shanks is sailing with the Red Hair Pirates and that he’s absolutely nowhere near Elbaf at this point in time, there is absolutely no way that this person can be Shanks. There is only one individual who this person can be and that is Shanks’s twin brother.
The Pirate Shanks’s Brother Wanted To Talk About
Shanks’s Twin Likely Wanted To Talk About Shanks
Now that it has been established in One Piece that Shanks has a brother, fans need to revisit One Piece chapter 907 and understand who Shanks’s brother was talking about. Shanks’s brother is a member of the God’s Knights, that much is for certain. As such, his job is to protect the Celestial Dragons, defend Marijoa, and at the same time, carry out the judicial duties of the God’s Knights. As such, he should not be concerning himself with the likes of the Emperors and the other individuals in the One Piece world. That job belongs to the Five Elders, and the Marines. Yet, Shanks’s brother went out of his way to speak with the Five Elders about a certain pirate.

Previously, when fans had assumed this character to be Shanks, they believed that the pirate Shanks was talking about could only either be Blackbeard or potentially Luffy. Now, it has been confirmed that this person wasn’t Shanks, which means that the pirate they’re talking about can only be Shanks himself.

One Piece: Oda Had Hinted At Shanks’s Twin Long Ago
Oda revealed Shanks has a evil twin. He was hinted at long ago in One Piece.
Naturally, it would make sense for Shanks’s brother to keep an eye on Shanks, especially if he makes erratic movements all of a sudden. Shanks has been known to be a peaceful pirate. Even though he is a threat to the World Government, he has never gone out of his way to cause any harm because he was on the sidelines for the longest time. But now, in the Final Saga, Shanks has decided to move. His moves are going to hurt the Government, and it is possible that Shanks’s brother noticed this and decided to notify the government about his upcoming plan.
Will Shanks’s Brother Play A Major Role in Elbaf?
Shanks’s Brother Will Likely Fight Luffy
It goes without saying that Shanks’s twin will play a major role in Elbaf. As things stand, Shanks’s brother is the main antagonist of the Elbaf arc, and it is going to be incredibly exciting to see what exactly he ends up doing here and whether he clashes with Luffy or not. Things are only going to get more exciting from here onwards, and hopefully, the story can continue with an even higher level of intensity.
Over the course of the next few chapters, the role of Shanks’s brother and Elbaf will be clear. This role can either be that of an all-out enemy right from the get-go, which is unlikely, since he doesn’t have the numbers to compete against an entire country that also hosts Yonko, or it could be to deliver a warning to the people of Elbaf and then return to where he came from. Our money is on the latter, but the situation will be clear very soon.
One Piece is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus apps. The release date for the next chapter of One Piece, One Piece 1135, is set to be January 5, 2024.
