While Stardew Valley has no ending, achieving perfection is still possible in-game, and one player has managed to accomplish it in both function and form on their Year 68 Farm. Stardew Valley launched in February 2016, and it has evolved tremendously over the years, supported both by its hardworking developer and a dedicated community. Inspired by Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley is, at its core, all about building a thriving farm and forging a bond with the residents of an idyllic town.
As a sandbox, the goal in Stardew Valley is left entirely in the hands of the player. That being said, the game does feature a structured progression system that the player can chase as they slowly rebuild their grandpa’s farm. Initially, it was about progressing through the Mines or rebuilding the Community Center, but the scope has since expanded towards the goal of achieving Perfection in Stardew Valley. Eventually, dedicated players who complete all the content in Stardew Valley are given a special scene at the Summit, a location that was introduced in Update 1.5.
