Fans will be delighted to learn that My Hero Academia Vigilantes is set to be released in the upcoming year, just like My Hero Academia Season 8.

During Jump Festa 2025, a new key visual that featured My Hero Academia Vigilantes’ main character, Koichi Haimawari, was revealed. Another visual featured Koichi Haimawari from the front, providing fans with a good look at his anime design.

My Hero Academia Vigilantes is a spinoff series of the original My Hero Academia manga. It follows the main character, Koichi Hainawari. Koichi becomes a Vigilante after being saved by them. The events of this manga actually take place before the events of the original My Hero Academia, making it somewhat of a prequel.

People going into this anime series should keep in mind that it isn’t written by Horikoshi, MHA’s mangaka, but he does consider it canon.

As many fans know, the MHA manga ended very recently, earlier in August. When it comes to its anime adaptation, MHA’s final season will be released in the fall of next year, putting an end to the series.
