Kaiju No. 8 Made A Big Announcement At Jump Festa 2025
Kaiju No. 8 also revealed new information related to the anime compilation film, which will have content from the first season. It will also have a one-off episode called Hoshina’s Days Off. It has been confirmed that it will be released worldwide. The Japanese screening for the film will begin on March 28, 2025.
It has also been confirmed that ONE REPUBLIC will provide a new song titled “Invisible” for the compilation film. So, it is quite apparent that 2025 is going to be a big year for Kaiju No. 8 fans as they will have a lot of new content to look forward to. A compilation film releasing right before the second season is a good way for fans to prepare for it.

Naoya Matsumoto’s Kaiju No. 8 began serializing on the Shonen Jump+ app in July 2020. The manga has a unique schedule where Naoya Matsumoto takes a one-week break after releasing three chapters. This is a good way to manage stress levels, and it won’t cause the author any health issues.
The manga has done well in terms of sales. It has sold over 16 million copies, which is a phenomenal number for a new series. These numbers are certain to increase once the anime’s second season is released.
