Small arms and vehicles aren’t the weapons players can wield in Delta Force. For playing in Warfare mode, they also have the option to call-in various kinds of fire support and logistics drops. This includes the ability to mark an area for an artillery barrage, potentially hampering, if not completely stopping, the enemy’s advance.
Calling in a shower of explosives is pretty simple, but many players might not know how to do it, which is a shame since calling-in artillery is often one of the challenges needed for events and daily missions. Here’s how you can do so in Delta Force’s Warfare mode.

How to Use Artillery Barrage in Delta Force
To call in artillery, players need to press and hold the 5 key on their keyboard by default. This opens up the support menu, giving players the ability to request all sorts of tactical stuff that can help win a match. Apart from the Artillery Barrage, other support options include a smokescreen, a vehicle drop, a respawn beacon for the whole team, and a devastating cruise missile.
Select the Artillery Barrage from the support menu, and your Delta Force operator will bring out a tablet with a layout of your current map. Pick a spot you want the barrage to hit, and wait for a few seconds. Soon, shells will start hitting the area you pinned, damaging or killing any enemy unfortunate enough to get caught by them. Keep in mind that the Artillery Barrage will be useless in underground maps like Shafted or the C sector of Ascension (Cruise Missiles still work there, however).
Before you can use an Artillery Barrage, you need to rack up enough points first. You can earn points by doing just about anything that benefits your team or harms the enemy. If you truly want to score big without putting in too much effort, play as a Support and just start resupplying, healing, and reviving people. If you want to earn points via kills and aggressive plays, we recommend using the SG552 in Delta Force for Assault and Recon, and the PKM for Engineers.
The best way to use an Artillery Barrage is to cut off enemy reinforcements. Shelling an objective is okay if you’re trying to defend one that’s getting taken, but if you really want to make the most out of a barrage, place it slightly behind the frontline. Your shells should hit both the enemies that have just respawned and the ones that are trying to push, making them easier to take out from your end. Your team’s snipers and flankers will thank you.
