How To Reach Maleficent’s Castle

Unlocking the Beanstalk Marshes with Merida in Everafter.

To reach Maleficent’s Castle, you’ll need to have completed all the Fairy Tale Trials in Everafter. You’ll also need to unlock the Beanstalk Marshes at the northwest corner of the map.

This will cost 10,000 Storybook Magic.

Once you unlock the Beanstalk Marshes, head all the way to the north to find the massive beanstalk leading to Maleficent’s Castle. Make your way inside, just over the pond to confront the Mistress of all Evil.

How To Complete Maleficent’s Chore

After you enter the castle, you’ll find Maleficent waiting for you. She doesn’t care much about what’s happening outside the castle, as it[‘s not her concern. Instead, she needs you to do a chore for her to fix up the interior of her home.

Where To Find Maleficent’s Furniture

To find her missing furniture, you’ll need to head to the western chamber. The door is locked, but the tiles on the floor can be changed to enter a code. To open the door, change the first tile to a dragon and the second to a castle.

The solution for the puzzle is along the wall to the east.

Pass into the next chamber to find a much larger puzzle. The hints are scattered along the wall in different orientations. Below, we’ve made a table to show you which symbols go where:

Once you enter the correct pattern using your Royal Shovel, the curtain at the back of the room will lift and you can retrieve Maleficent’s Throne from the chest beyond.

Next, collect the separated piece of a Royal Net wheel along the stairs to the west of the main chamber. Put it back on the broken pedestal, then use your net to activate it. This will open the door nearby so you can pass through.

Enter the room to find a dark library. A locker to the left requires a code. You can search the walls and shelves for a code, along with the chandelier. Below is the answer to opening the locker and retrieving Maleficent’s infamous spinning wheel:

How To Arrange Maleficent’s Furniture

Once you find the missing furniture, return to the main chamber and use the pedestal by the checkered floor to place the missing items. Then, open your furniture menu to rearrange the furniture. While the items were misplaced, the shadows remained.

You’ll need to line up the furniture with the shadows along the walls. Make sure to check all three walls to align the items. Some will need to be moved forward to match the shadows.

After you’ve placed the items, a portal will open into Maleficent’s Throne Room.

How To Catch Maleficent’s Pets In The Throne Room

Step through the portal to enter Maleficent’s Throne Room. She’ll join you and watch as you pursue her little pets. At first, there’s only one frog-like Snippet made of shadow. After you catch that one, three more will appear.

These critters are very fast, so try to corner them by the walls and stairs to catch them!

After they’re caught, return to Maleficent. She’ll tell you how she made these creatures and what she expects if you want her to cooperate in restoring the Storybook Vale.

For now, you’ve done all you can, but there’s still a lot of work left to do if you want to resolve her feud with Hades.
