Summary
- Batman Zero in Fortnite offers a tactical, survival-focused outfit scrounged from the island’s resources, perfect for avoiding enemies and storms.
- Armored Batman Zero presents a bulky design, fitting within the narrative of the Zero Point comic, but some players may not like the blue lenses.
- The Batman Who Laughs skin is a twisted mix of Batman and Joker, embodying the most dangerous traits of Batman with a metal and belt-adorned outfit.
The Dark Knight himself is no stranger to Fortnite, and Batman has seen many Victory Royales over the years, even if his rule against using guns has taken a backseat. There are plenty of amazing Batman skins in Fortnite, and the collabs with DC Comics bring the World’s Greatest Detective into the fray, but players don’t have to just rely on one Batman variant.

Batman might prefer to work alone, but he has some of the best friends a brooding bat could want in all of DC Comics.
As one of the world’s most popular superheroes, it’s no surprise that Fortnite x Batman has happened a few times, providing players with more than one variation of the iconic Caped Crusader. Whilst players can’t run into Fortnite as Robert Pattinson’s Batman, there are plenty of other choices featuring cape, cowl, and scowl.
Updated on December 22, 2024, by Jake Fillery: It’s been over 3 years since Batman received a new outfit in Fortnite, and over 2 years since Fortnite x DC had another collab. Yet, things seem to be on the right track again as DC and Fortnite bring forth new skins, and release returning cosmetics to provide players with the best DC skins in Fortnite, while continuing the growing library of Batman skins in Fortnite thanks to the newly released Ninja Knight Batman.

Ninja Knight Batman
Batman From a Feudal Japan
- Cost: 1,600 V-Bucks
- Introduced In: Chapter 6, Season 1
- Release Date: December 21, 2024
“Feudal Gotham’s stealthiest Dark Knight.”
DC celebrates a return to Fortnite with a new cosmetic for Batman, providing players with the Ninja Knight Batman outfit that shows the potential of the Caped Crusader. This Ninja Batman is a unique creation to blend with Fortnite’s Japanese aesthetics of Chapter 6 Season 1’s Battle Royale island, and it takes heavy inspiration from the anime movie, Batman Ninja (2018).
While this Ninja Batman doesn’t have any ties to the comic world or the live-action appearances, it’s still a brilliant addition to Batman’s library of outfits, and is hopefully the return of Batman’s time in the Fortnite Item Shop with some amazing collab cosmetics.

Batman Zero
A Tactical Batman Out To Survive
- Cost: 1,500 V-Bucks
- Introduced In: Chapter 2, Season 6
- Release Date: May 5, 2021
“The man behind the myth.”
The first actual Batman outfit in Fortnite where it’s a comic book by Bruce Wayne behind the cowl, Batman Zero features as a proud DC Series outfit from the hit Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comic. It’s a great outfit for Batman trying to survive on the island, avoiding hostile players, guns, and the dreaded storm. This is Batman at his most improvisational, as his gadgets and gear are scrounged from the island itself.

The tattered cape back bling and the smoke grenades on his bandolier strap make for a great tactical Batman outfit for someone committed to not just a one-man war on crime in Gotham City, but someone who committed to a one-man war against 99 other Loopers.

Armored Batman Zero
Bringing Armor To The Island
- Cost: 1,500 V-Bucks or Redeem All Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point codes
- Introduced In: Chapter 2, Season 7
- Release Date: July 7, 2021
“When things get tough, get tougher.”
Fans of DC Comics’ Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comic will enjoy the Armored Batman Zero costume, as it fits within the narrative of the pages, and now comes to the island as a skin players can wear. It’s also great to see Batman in an armored suit, as he often is when trying to even the odds against the likes of Superman and other powerful characters.

Batman may be a beloved superhero in the main universe of DC Comics, but the Multiverse often holds sinister antics for the Caped Crusader.
Some players might not like the Armored Batman Zero costume compared to other Batman outfits in Fortnite, as it’s a rather bulky design, and the blue lenses look a tad strange, as does the chunky cape back bling that just doesn’t really fit the aesthetic.

Batman Comic Book Outfit
New 52 Batman As A Jonesy Snapshot
- Cost: $15.99 (USD) Batman Caped Crusader Pack
- Introduced In: Chapter 1, Season 10
- Release Date: September 21, 2019
“The World’s Greatest Detective.”
The first Batman outfit, and perhaps the most comic-accurate, comes from the Batman Comic Book Outfit. This was one of the first collab skins in Fortnite, and having it be Batman is a true doozy. Fortnite has evolved since then, so some might be disappointed by this outfit since it’s just Jonesy in a Batman costume, as noted by the recognizable chin and proportions.
Whilst it may be considered an outdated skin by today’s high standards, it’s still fun to drop into the island and run around as Batman, with the outfit fitting the vibe of DC Comics’ New 52 Caped Crusader thanks to the lines on the suit and the notable lack of trunks under the utility belt. It’s also worth noting that this is the same collab that brought about Catwoman.

The Dark Knight Movie Outfit
Christian Bale’s Batman Suit
- Cost: $15.99 (USD) Batman Caped Crusader Pack
- Introduced In: Chapter 1, Season 10
- Release Date: September 21, 2019
“The hero Gotham deserves.”
One of the first collabs in Fortnite was The Dark Knight Movie Outfit, which features Batman in his famous suit from The Dark Knight (2008), in which Christian Bale played Bruce Wayne. Whilst the forehead might seem a tad large, and the face beneath definitely is not Christian Bale, it’s still a good outfit for those who like things that come in black, and for those who adore Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy.

It’s a detailed outfit, and players can see all the fabrics and fibers that make the suit work. The jet black colors look great in-game, and although fans might be waiting for more live-action Batman skins, like from The Batman (2022), this one will have to do for now.

The Batman Who Laughs
A Creepy Mix Of Joker/Batman
- Cost: 1,500 V-Bucks or Redeem Batman/Fortnite: Foundation code
- Introduced In: Chapter 2, Season 8
- Release Date: October 26, 2021
“You see…a Batman who laughs…is a Batman who always wins.”
Whilst twisted into an image of the Joker, the Batman Who Laughs is indeed a Batman; what’s worse is that he’s a Bruce Wayne. The Batman Who Laughs answers the age-old question of what would happen if Batman became evil, as this is the embodiment of the most dangerous traits of Batman and the most chaotic and evil behaviors of the Joker.
It’s a pretty metal skin to run with, as this skin features an unstoppable grin, with metal and belts adorned to the outfit. Players might want to be careful when peaking though, as the metallic crown of thorns on the Batman Who Laughs’ head might be a bit obvious and pointy.
