Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a tactical RPG developed by Firaxis, the studio behind the Civilization and XCOM series, and released by 2K in 2022. Inspired by the comics of the same name, Midnight Suns shows the darker side of Marvel in which players take on the role of Hunter, a legendary demon hunter. They must lead a group of veteran heroes and fight against Lilith, who has joined forces with the ancient god Chthon. In addition to customizing their Hunter, players engage in turn-based combat and a unique social element that allows them to interact with the heroes in their time outside battles.

Although Marvel’s Midnight Suns wasn’t a huge success, Redditor most-p-alone recalled the Firaxis title by turning the titular group into Guardians. They shared a screenshot showing versions of Ghost Rider, Scarlet Spider, Doctor Strange, Jennifer Kale, Blade, Wolverine, and Moon Knight posing together. One of the most impressive builds is Wolverine’s, giving the Guardian the same colors as the hero’s classic costume. Another highlight is his hair and face, which the player has recreated using Blanka’s mask, part of the Destiny 2 crossover with Street Fighter. Scarlet Spider also attracts attention with a build that is strongly reminiscent of the hero, especially by recreating the hoodie shirt worn by him.

While Wolverine and Scarlet Spider’s builds stand out for their attention to detail, the other heroes are no exception. Players who want to try the builds can look at the comments section, as they share the shaders and gear pieces used to recreate each hero.
The last update for Marvel’s Midnight Suns released by Firaxis was in June last year, putting an end to the controversial Midnight Suns run. Destiny 2, meanwhile, continues to receive periodic updates despite being out since 2017. The most recent patch was released on December 10, and although it wasn’t extensive, it made gameplay adjustments, balanced classes, and kicked off the Dawning holiday event.
