According to the official patch notes, which can be viewed further down this article, update 1.1.2 addresses some of the most recent issues with the game reported by the community. Thankfully, this issue has now been fixed, as well as issues that were causing some to crash upon exiting the game and for others who were unable to load their save files.

Also included in the latest update is a massive new feature for STALKER 2 players that allows users to back up their save files and prevent the loss of data. In the official patch notes, GSC Game World says that save files will be stored automatically and last for 4 days before being deleted. Unfortunately, it looks like this new feature is only available on PC, with no word on whether or not Xbox Series X/S owners can look forward to save back-ups in the future.
