Fortnite collaborations have been increasing in scale, and in addition to creating deals like the new Mariah Carey collab that pushes the limits of what players thought was possible, Epic Games appears determined to include some of the biggest gaming hits of the last couple of years. Many have been excited about the prospect of tackling Fortnite matches with a Cyberpunk 2077 flair.

Gamers have been wondering when the Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration with Fortnite would happen, and after being rumored for a long time, it appears that some characters will be arriving in the shop soon. V will come with a Flathead Backbling themed after the game’s opening mission, and their vehicle will be a Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech, a car that was featured in trailers and throughout Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. SpushFNBR notes that these items will be available as a bundle for 2800 V-Bucks and that there’s a chance gamers will have to purchase the Quadra Turbo-R-V-Tech separately. By December 22, the cosmetics should be decrypted in the Fortnite Shop. These items should be available for purchase starting December 23 in the United States, and December 24 in Europe.

Many fans have expressed their excitement to see some of Cyberpunk‘s most iconic characters make an appearance in Fortnite, although some fans have noted that Johnny Silverhand would most likely not appreciate being sold as a microtransaction since the concept seems to clash with the character’s strong ethos. Others are still holding out hope that this collaboration is just the beginning and that eventually, members of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners cast could be featured through skins and items as well.
