You finally upgraded your workbench and are ready to craft new, sturdier tools and weapons. You open the menu to see one of the required resources for some of them is Knotroot Rod. Where To Find Knotroot

Knotroot appears just as the name indicates, as curled knotted roots, and is always found close to Marble. Knotroot can only be found in the Grasslands. It’s mostly found inside the caves, but as part of the Odyssey update, it can now be found in the Grasslands overworld too.

As of the Odyssey update, you can now harvest Knotroot with a Common Forest Axe or better. Tools like Axes can be crafted at your Crafting Bench. With Odyssey’s Component-based Crafting, there is more flexibility in which materials you can use when crafting.

How To Make Knotroot Rods

Once you have Knotroot wood you can use the Lumber Mill, which can be crafted with 40 Wood, to create Knotroot Rods. With these rarer Rods, you’ll now be able to craft sturdier tools and weapons.
